I feel like this is a really good idea (using a powerwasher), that more compacted snow would turn to slush, if not get blown away. And that this would be great for getting up that first layer of ice. Has anyone tried this idea?

I got a ticket while my car was parked in DC for an expired inspection sticker but it wasn't expired...one item was rejected and there was a temporary sticker with the void symbol which gives me 2 weeks from the date of inspection to take care of the problem, and the inspection was done just a few days ago. I really want to get my motorcycle driver's license. Any riders out there that know of a good program in Fairfax that is reasonably priced to get the classroom and driving portion taken care of? I looked at MSF but they don't specify their price on the website, just that it's in the GMU parking lot. Would really appreciate your recommendations.

What are the gun laws in Virginia? I'm interested in getting a pistol to have in my home for protection. Have never owned a gun before, have owned paintball guns though. Can anyone recommend a good gun safety course or even a reliable pistol (thinking a beretta, glock, or colt 40/45). Let me know.
