I don't know about that idea...unless it's a very small motorsailer, unstepping the mast is a major undertaking. Not something you'd want to try underway. You should get a sailboat for mama...and get yourself, say a 17' Boston Whaler (or similar) for fishing. That's what I do, I have my big boat for trips and dockside living...and an old (1976) 17' Boston Whaler Montauk, with a late model 90 h

Hey, I though you said your primary interest was fishing? If so, sailboats are awful for that....you sure don't need a mast, boom, or stays in the way of your rod handling/fish fighting! Get a nice center

I've been wondering the same thing, 519. It's definitely closed....I hope just for renovations (there is a roll-off trash bin in the parking lot). Their website is "tempoarily disabled"....which may be a bad sign. If it's history, I'm going to miss bellying to that bar.

IB is too hard...that's your objection to it. The only thing "advanced" about AP is your delusions of grandeur as it applies to your slack jawed kid. Tell your prodigies to log off MyFace, quit TXTing their moron friends and crack the books! Acceptance to TJ is the ultimate immunity from capricious School Board actions...... If they get into TJ (and keep their grades up)...you will NEVER,EVER

I saw the cops at a 3-way stop this morning handing out paper to cars that stopped at the stop signs. I wonder what they were up to? (I "re-routed" to avoid the intersection....'spection sticker ran out yesterday)

"This whole process has pitted neighbors against neighbors, friends against friends, communities against communities," said Fox Mill resident Jennifer Kyle Herd. "We don't trust each other, and we don't trust the School Board." LOL, I don't trust my friends and neighbors either. They're a bunch of selfish motherfuckers just like me! Also had to laugh at the bitch in the article....if she live

I haven't gotten a tax refund for over 30 years....and my quarterly estimated payments would curl your hair. But, I know a lot of people who eagerly await their tax refunds. They know that Uncle Sam is just giving them their own money, sans interest....but the fact of the matter is, when living paycheck to paycheck, they could never, ever save several thousand dollars on their own. It's a "

Don't forget just down the street was Falls Church Airpark (where Loehmann's Plaza is now). http://www.airfields-freeman.com/VA/Airfields_VA_Fairfax_W.htm I remember taking an intro flight in a Mooney (they were Mooney dealers) when I was a kid...cost 5 bucks. Fairfax County USED TO BE a fun place.

Relax, it was a self-deprecating comment about the "power of the internet". There was no mention of you, his wife, or the phone incident at all. The guy is way too smart to say anything inflammatory in public.

Okay, so there were some pedophile priests. Priests come from the general population. So how come we haven't read about a pedophile rabbi...is it that are none? Or does the (Jewish owned) media not want us reading about such unpleasantries? The only thing Louis Farrakhan ever said that rang true was in his attack on the media..."It's not the newsroom, it's the jewsroom".

Yeah, I know it's just one letter, but if the kid is as smart as he thinks he is, he could spell a simple word like that. And I just skimmed his bullshit post....there's probably plenty of other examples. A lot of young Americans will never have a wedding because of this lying asshole. They got funerals instead. With that in mind, I hope Jenna's nuptials are kept very low key...but I'm not optimistic. These are some no-class mofos were talking about here.

The last accident I was in, a guy on a motorcycle broadsided me (I saw him flying over my trunk lid). He didn't want me to call the police either, but I did. An hour later (in 103 degree heat) and no cop. Then the police called ME back and said they "were too busy to respond, just exchange information". This guy also tried to change his tune and my insurance company fought it out with his. T

Trailer parks will be gone in a few years. They'd NEVER approve a new one to be built in Fairfax County. There aren't many left anyway....what, there's this one (Waples), and a few down Rt 1. These owners WILL sell the land under these parks when the right offer comes along...and then they'll be all gone. I'm surprisesd Waples has lasted this long with that choice location in the City....and
