The majority of this place and the community are as brain-dead obnoxious as you think, but there are a lot of people here too who find this kind of stuff interesting. As you being new, just expect a swarm of cancer in the comments every time you post, but there are always some who actually read the post for what it is. I personally enjoyed the story.

At this point, I've heard anywhere from zero inches to three feet. There are also predictions of rain in the surrounding area, so my guess is that it will either slush-ify the snow or freeze. If the later, expect power outages.

Coke is just the standard 'soda', really. And because it's regarded as so, it has no unique qualities like the lemon/lime of sprite/7up or the signature taste of root beer. Whereas Fanta encompasses all of those minority sodas with flavors like orange, grape, etc. Coke is good if you don't know what you want, but Fanta is for when you needed something a little less bland.

Lake Fairfax has some if you know where to look. I'm not too knowledgeable on Trout in Virginia but if you like fishing for snapping turtles, Hidden Pond Nature Center is perfect a bit later in the year.

Matchbox is great, but only when you feel like dining out. Aside from that, my favorite place which offers delivery is definitely Pizza Bolis down on Cedar Lane
