Night Running

I live in Herndon and was wondering if there are any safe well lit places to
run after dark? Tried to get to the track at Herndon HS early summer, and it was a maze of gates, fences and padlocks. I don't mind travelling like 10 miles or so.

Don't run on those bike paths in Herndon at night, unless you want to meet Juan, Jose, Julio and Enrique.
