Cops Pulling Over Cars Last Night?

There were a bunch of police cars along Route 29 last night, pulling over a lot of cars. At one point a police car pulled up to a motorcyclist and shined his light in the kid's face. Police were pulling cars over on Route 29 at 28, and on St. Germaine Drive. Lot's of chasing down, flashing lights, pulling over cars.....

Anyone know what that was all about?

I heard some sirens last night and it kept me up.
I've noitced that crimes have been increasing in Centreville over the past few years. I don't want to sound like a bigot, but think it's due to latino who are moving here.

Don't make this about race. Police do this from time to time to check peoples registration and ask about what they're doing at this time of night. No biggie.

no biggie my ass, i was doing nothing wrong, i was doing 55 in a 55, not texting, all my lights work, and im over 18 so no curfew. i was pulled over, the officer gave me no reason why he did this, he attempted to search my car, then threatened to detain me if i didnt let him perform the search. they were clearly doing something else besides checking papers
