Gunshots in Centreville?

Did anyone hear what sounded like gunshots late Tuesday night (2/10/15) or early Wednesday (2/11/15) morning in Little Rocky Run?

Yes! Around 10 pm, there were 2 about 10 minutes apart. Then something woke me up. I looked at the clock at 1:38, and there were 2 more about 10 seconds apart. I still haven't found any articles or anything with the source.

There is also a shooting range close by and I always here gun shots

Gunshots are actually very common sounds in centreville as we have a gun range between 29 and 28 in the more rural parts of town.

Thank you Rachel and Shelley - however this was in Little Rocky Run - not a rural part of town and I doubt anyone would be at a shooting range in the middle of the night!

Hey, I also recall hearing them in the middle of the night (same timeframe)....they were definite gunshots, but didn't know if I was just dreaming it or what. Little Rocky Run area is correct....

In an area as safe and patrolled by such a well funded police force, I doubt anything dubious happened without someone noticing.

This area is haunted by the ghosts of the civil war. Sometimes in the morning you can hear the phantom regiment unloading their muskets in the woods.

Time to bring back this thread. heard multiple gun shots early hours of Sunday morning at 3:45 am in Little Rocky Run near the pool/tennis courts. At least 8 rounds, sounded like a semi auto rifle. Neighbors heard it too.
