Hey, does anyone know what the deal is re New Braddock? VDOT filled cracks back in the Winter. It seems to be peeling off now! Are they getting ready to repave the road this Spring or something? Your tax dollars hard at work.

I was wondering what hell those big wads of black crap were all over the road before you get to 28.

And now that they've filled in those potholes it's like running over dead bodies. They should've just left them how they were if they weren't gonna do it right, especially on the Parkway.

Here is the deal....they tried to repair the cracks in the cold weather so the tar was not absorbed. Now, they come through with the plows directly on the pavement scraping up the tar. The plows are supposed to be 1 inch off the ground.

Tar is some nasty stuff right? Now the tar and all the bi-products are going into the storm drains which are going into the creeks and rivers. Somebody should be held responsible for this. It really is such a crime. I hope the water treatment plants really do work because we will be drinking the tar shortly.

My god you need something better to do in your spare time rather than complain about everything in life. You have lived in Northern VA way to long - and it shows.

It will end up in your drinking water. But who cares right? There is a big push right now to "clean up Fairfax" by Fairfax County.

Also, tax dollars were spent do make the repair, which was done incorrectly. Now more tax dollars are going to be spent to clean it up and do it again. What ever happend to doing it right the first time?

And, I was not complaining about it, just answering a question.
