These despicable Saul Alinsky tactics are being used against Cucinelli in the governors race. Let's not be stupid people. Libertarians are going to get McAuliffe elected if we are not careful. You have made your point. How about trying to work with people who share most of your values? Did we learn nothing from Ross Perot? Do some research. just heard on Politico that McAuliffe is outspending Cucinelli 25:1 !!! What does that tell you? People who live no where near NOVA are involved in this battle.

This really shouldn't surprise anyone. Virginia is more and more a crucial state in national elections for it's electoral votes. By taking the governors office a party can strongly influence the national election.

The sad thing is how lame McAuliffe is and yet he still might win. I haven't read one thing yet about him that makes him qualified to be Gov. Democrats feel that if they run a empty suit and spend enough money on ads painting Repubs as 'rabid antiabortionists' they can scare enough female swing votes into winning. Every race they run, the week before the election they bring out all their fearmongering ads about abortion rights to scare women into voting on one issue, which has little to do with the Commonwealth anyway.
