Clocktower

Has anyone noticed the much improved Clocktower Thrift Shop. They got a new manager and the store is much cleaner, organized, and better priced. They seem to have much better quality of items to choose from. Bu, be sure and call before taking donations because they have certain hours for donations.

I dropped off a bag of clothes there about a month ago, and happened to do so just after 5PM. The girl at the counter was actually going to refuse them, saying that they only take donations up until 5PM, and that you have to deliver them to the back of the building.

I told her that I wasn't interested in getting a receipt for the tax write-off or anything--I just wanted to donate the clothes. If they didn't want them, I could always drop the bag off at a GoodWill box or something. With that, she decided to take it.
