On November 2, 2008 49-year-old cab driver Mazhar Nazir was shot to death by 22-year-old Evan Gargiulo in Tysons Corner after Gargiulo had Nazir drive him around Northern Virginia, running up a $130 tab.
Using Nazir's cell phone, Gargiulo subsquently called his old college roommate Francis Roman, claiming he had just made his "first civilian kill" after murdering Nazir.
