The Zorn Identity

So far Jim Zorn has let Santana Moss, Fred Davis, Shawn Springs and LeRon Landry blow off mini-camp. Clinton Portis injured himself screwing around on the field with LeRon Landry, something Portis said Joe Gibbs never would have allowed (I mean, f-ing JOE GIBBS wouldn't allow it!!!)

In the meantime, Zorn appears to be spending all of his time as QB Coach (his previous job) while ignoring the rest of the team.

Given this information, anyone want to guess the 2008 season record?

2-14.

Look on the good side. By the spring of 2009 the Redskins will have a great draft pick and Bill Cowher as coach.

Just looked at their schedule.... I'll say 6 wins, maybe 7.

LOL, there is some guy at my office that seriously thinks they will win the division this season.

I agree with the Cowher thing. That is the first thing that came to my mind the day Cowher announced his retirement.

I think giving Zorn five wins, ala Spurrier, is being generous.

Zorn has never been an offensive coordinator, much less a head coach. His entire career has been in Seattle which, until a few years ago, was a perennial loser. He is dealing with a team that has virtually no depth and an owner who will have no problem making decisions for him.

I think 2-14. I can't see anything better. All signs point to a total disaster.
