Me and my bitch are trying to go on a vacation and it doesn't matter where, as long as the price is less than $80 dollars one way. thanks. any websites?

If you've only got $80 why not just drive somewhere? Go camping in Shenandoah, or rafting in West Virginia. People expect everything to be so cheap all the time and then wonder why the airlines have us squashed into seats too small for humans, are cutting out even the peanuts, and are now starting to charge extra for luggage. Save your pennies and wait until you can afford the vacation you want, or take the vacation you can afford.
You should just pay regular fare and take your vacation in Las Vegas. That way you can win enough money playing blackjack and craps to pay for your airfare.
Thats PSA 182 that crashed on Sept. 25, 1978. It was a fucking hot day - typical hot Santa Ana day in San Diego. Close to 100 from what I remember.
I was with my mom at the "Assistance League" thrift shop in North Park on University Avenue - (right by the 163). North Park is to the north of Balboa Park and the approach to Lindbergh.
The 727s back then were thunderously loud back then and I always looked up to watch them come in to land at Lindbergh or as they flew over the city to double back to land on runway 27. On this particular one I heard the plane (the 727), looked down for a bit, heard a thud (not too loud, but I did hear it), then heard the engine sounds get louder as the plane apparently increased speed as it came down. Looked up and saw the plane wings close to wings vertical to the ground (at least from my perspective), and probably not more than 1500 feet in the air with fire trailing out from one wing, and heading away from me towards what is now the 805 freeway.
Heard the crash, saw the red/black plume, and VERY loud boom. Then nothing. Then about 3 minutes later, there were sirens all over the place.
Got home very shaken, only to find out that the roofing company that was redoing our cedar shake roof had one of the foremen on the ground - his wife was coming in on that plane.
So - a double whammy.

Yah, I still remember it vividly. My dad always took me down to Lindbergh to watch the planes take off and land. Back then you could park about 250 feet from the base of the runway (27) and you'd literally have your entire body shake and vibrate as the aircraft - 727s, 737s, old DC9s, and 707s revved up their engines to start rolling down the runway. So, seeing the PSA plane (the hometown favorite carrier) buy the farm was a shock. Probably would have been more shocking if I was, say, 12 or 15, and really understood the consequences of what had happened.
They turned the viewing spot into an airport employee parking lot in the late 1980s.
