Transformers II filming in DC

Anyone know more about Dreamworks' Transformers II movie filming in DC next Thursday through Saturday? I know they are filming now in Bethleham PA, and will be fiming Monday and Tuesday in Philly, but I haven't heard about any street closures in DC or getting set passes for the DC filming.

I grew up near there, and talked to some family tonite. Apparently they are filming some battle scenes on the site of the old steel mill. That's pretty cool, although I can't figure out why they'd pick Bethlehem. They can't find a place in LA to film a battle scene? Well, there's good cheesesteak places right near there, maybe that's why...

Are these Transformer movies worth watching? I hate sci-fi and comic book movies, but the fact they filmed in Bethlehem sparks my interest.

They were out filming this movie at the Air & Space's Udvar Hazy center at Dulles Airport over the weekend. John Turturro, Megan Fox, and Shia Lebeouf were all part of the scene being filmed around a SR-71 Blackbird Jet.

They were checking out something under the plane, then John yelled something and Shia and Megan ran off towards the other military planes. There was a remote control car buzzing around under some planes as well. I am not sure if it was a "character" or a prop to be substituted with SFX later.

My one and only begins filming in and around Baltimore, today.

Seriously, they were filming this weekend, but in VA. They were fimlming out at the Steven Hazy Air and Space Museum. Shai Labeef was there, with Megan "Hottest Girl on the planet" Fox, and John Turturro. The scene that takes place involved an Sr-71 Blackbird that transforms into Jetfire.

Also, a 2008 Pontiac Solstice (Jazz), and a yellow camaro (Bumblebee) were all parked in the lot.

Amazingly enough Michael Bay was there signing autographs along with the stars, very cool people.

I think filming was complete that weekend, with pick-ups happening later this summer. But they are now filming in PA around STATE COLLEGE.

They were filming at the Bethlehem Steel Mill (LeHigh Valley), which is supposed to double as part of an industrial chinese city.
