They have Criminal Investigators in the OIG that carry firearms and have arrest authority just like any other 1811.

Id imagine their inspector generals office is pretty large since everyone uses social security at one point or another. Very ripe for fraud.

Thy have around 420 investigators in the inspector generals office.
