When did TV show seasons change?

WTF? Wasn't it Sept to May? You had weeks skipped here and there, maybe a couple near Christmas, but now who knows! Game of Thrones on HBO was on April to June, Dallas July and August, Walking Dead had 7 episodes then took a mid-season break for 2months....wtf?

You're referring to cable channels. They're off compared to the regular networks season schedules. They used to get viewers by having new shows when NBC, ABC, CBS and Fox were showing re-runs.

HBO never gave a shit. They just do what they want.

Yeah I guess I don't pay attention to the channels. There's like a 1,000 to choose from and I'm supposed to use HD "because it's an HD tv and it looks better"...right, looks the same to me, well, a little flatter, idk.

And what I don't get, meh, is the 2 month season. They film 8 episodes and call it a season? I call bs, even if it is cable! Anyhow, I'm going hiking in a few so I won't be around at lunch :( sorry
