Cinthy might win this bet... somehow, Susan seems to believe that she'll convince everyone that the guy who's standing up, publicly, and saying these things about her will be discredited by being ignored. Unfortunately, that leaves other considerations for her... as a parent, she has to know that nobody is going to drag me away from my family, and expect me to EVER just let it go.

Susan Mitchell Petty is a nurse for Inova. Her coworkers already know about her anxiety attacks -- she posted on Facebook that a few saw her nearly falling out of a chair at a meeting, and she still refused to see anyone. Yeah -- that's a great way for a high-stress single Mother to handle her mental health!

But for the moment, Doug really seems like more fun, anyway. And like I said, he provides LOTs of material.

BTW, he's a great kid. When he's not "going off", he's one of the sunniest children I've ever met, and a joy to be around.

But, he has a lot of trouble. He wears headphones all the time because noise causes him agitation. I believe that a Teacher ("Mr. Abdul" - my kids liked him) was trying to remove them and get Sam's attention when Sam hit him. Again, the whole story from Susan leaves some gaps, and I didn't pursue it -- just the idea that I'd entertain the possibility that she was over-exaggerating seemed to be a capital offense, and as I'd said earlier, I never wanted to be on Susan's "bad side".

In all of this, NOBODY mentioned one of the things he was "working on" a bit at the time. His first "published" stuff. Ever. Nobody mentioned it at all despite the fact that he was even paying to advertise it for a bit.
