Ann Romney puts in her two cents at the end of article.
"Republican Mitt Romney won’t find much public support for his refusal to release more than the two years of tax returns that he already has disclosed and promised.
Most Americans surveyed — 54 percent — say Romney should release additional tax returns, while 37 percent say he shouldn’t, according to a USA Today/Gallup Poll “snap-shot” conducted Wednesday night and released today. Independent voters, among the most heavily courted, align with the majority on this one."

I guess that makes you part of the 54%?
The 54% that doesn't get the fact that he still hasn't officially been named as the GOPs candidate.
Not the sharpest tool in the Democratic drawer are ya?

Simply said, people don't like Romney and aren't particularly crazy about his wife, either. Things like "you people" and pissing on the Brits over the Olympics just reinforce perceptions that these are two very uppity and unlikeable douch bags.

Meanwhile, Obama's favorables continue to fall as he becomes just another politician:
"44% said they hold a less favorable opinion of Obama based on the information they gained from the campaign in recent weeks, compared to 27% who now see Obama in a more favorable light."
Romney's favorable numbers also have slipped but not as important in his case since he's largely running as the anti-Obama as Obama ran as the anti-Bush.
Obviously a concern for the campaign since Axelrod is out talking about it and trying to blame the other side for Obama's falling numbers.

The liars in the Imploding and Insane Party of Hatred (and No) are totally focussed on it, but the fact is Obama said it absolutely correctly - the successful businesses didn't build the infrastructure ("roads and bridges") they depend on, the government/people did. More and more people are pointing out the edit-jobs that, for example, Fox News used to make it appear Obama said something else; they're failing with The People (though the InIPoHaN folks lap it up!).
