There is already conjecture that James Holmes may have been involved in mind-altering neuroscience research and ended up becoming involved at a depth he never anticipated. His actions clearly show a strange detachment from reality, indicating he was not in his right mind. That can only typically be accomplished through drugs, hypnosis or trauma (and sometimes all three).

In what order would you do those three. I know in rape and pillage, you should rape first, pillage later; but am confused about drugs, hypnosis and trauma.

I am beginning to miss real journalism. The open nature of the internet where anyone can post news and citizen journalists have become a primary source of information has been a boon to the availability of news.

Now, however, we're getting a proliferation of sites like this naturalnews.com. There is nothing special about what this guy put together. He even bought the stuff locally and legally in most cases.

There is no reason for some special neuroscience research. The kid is in the prime demographic for schizophrenia -- a young male in his early twenties.

As Chris Rock says, "Whatever happened to crazy?"

I think trauma comes first.

You know, when your uncle comes into your bedroom in the middle of the night and tucks your sheets into your anus.

You try hypnosis to try to forget, and when all else fails , out come the drugs.

I was watching FoxNews the other night, and they said that immediately after the shooting began, Bill Ayers and Trayvon Martin's father were seen at a nearby abortion clinic, handing out copies of the Koran.

If that ex-Marine, with all his training and expertise, couldn't inflict a couple dozen casualties on a dark, unsuspecting movie theater full of untrained civilians with a couple semi-automatic weapons and some tear gas, that can only mean one thing:

I will say, though, that I do think the guy is legitimately insane. Most of these mass murderers shoot themselves at the end instead of letting themselves get caught. They know that their life is effectively over after committing such a horrendous act. This guy going down without a fight is highly unusual.

On the off chance that he's faking it to get the insanity plea, that's not a smart decision, either. It might help him avoid jail or the death sentence, but he'll still spend the rest of his life in an insane asylum like Hinkley.

If he is in fact a Marine. Of course every Marine knows thew best way to get intel to the CIA is to hold up the letter in front of a camera on the Internet. I think they learn that in Basic Training.

They obviously didn't teach them to adjust the opacity of the grid on the text layer in photoshop in basic training...and yet theirs is the longest basic training of all the services. Hmm... CUNTSPIRACY!!!

i think you guys might be on to something here, this photo was just taken and it's clearly not james holmes. The goverment is using you sheeple take a good look at the real killer and watch your world come crashing down

Good call, but think it is more Schizotypal that is more like extreme odd behavior or magical thinking. Where he would relate so much to some persona, he actually becomes it. There is no mention, I've heard, about his hearing voices neither that are most common to regular schitzophrenia. In "typal" one is pron to recurring abnormal &/or psychotic tendencies, like that of being Psychotic Bi-polar, only you may experience both elevated & depressed states simultaniously.
Your perception cognitivly & emotionally is overtly distored as well.
Regardles of which it is, you can deffinatly see that disociative look in his eyes.

I'm just wondering if the've done any kind of psych profile on this guy, I'd be shocked & amazed if they hadn't already. Another thing you haven't heard much about, compared to the usual speculation you get when things like this happen..

Is all beyond sad, & makes you wonder or should, what is happening in our kids...

I guess the therapy did not work out.
