How true. Lorne Greene (Pa Cartright) died in 1987. Dan Blocker (Hoss) died in 1972. And almost-family member Victor Sen Yung (Hop Sing) died in 1980.

A nonprofit group mailed out a fundraising letter signed (endorsed) by Lorne Greene right before he died. Ah, honorable Hop Sing so sorry to hear passing of Mr. Jefferson. My family buy the laundries from Mr. Jefferson back in 1989. Still going strong laundering clothes and money. We will have a special in honor of Mr. Jefferson. Shirt on hanger 2 dollar.
