It clearly shows that many laws are written to make something illegal unless some standard is met. Driving IS illegal, unless you have a license. Machine Guns are illegal unless you have a license.

Yet you still sit here and say machine guns are illegal and driving is not, even though the two unrelated laws are written with the same vernacular.

We are getting to that, but your stupidity is hindering us. Baby steps, pea brain. Let's start again. What is Title 18 of the US Code? Even you should be able to come up with that.

Diversion is not going to win this debate for you. You are claiming something is illegal that is owned legally and bought by tens of thousands of people annually. Really, I dont understand how even the simplest of minds cant wrap their head around this.

How now? Refute my statement with fact. Disect it. Dont tell me its faulty logic without supporting statements. Its so fucking simple, my dog gets the correlation.

No, my evidence is simply supported my TV, along with the law, legal scholars, gun salespeople and gun owners.

Machine guns are not illegal. Its so fucking simple, man. Stop diverting the conversation.

It isn't a diversion, dimwit. It is trying to walk that tiny mind of yours down the road step by step. The fact that you won't/can't answer it indicates you know you are in the process of being proven wrong.

We are in the process of doing such, but your stupidity is seriously compromising any of my efforts to enlighten you.

It is not a diversion. Let's reverse the process what code section did you find your driving law. Jesus, man, it is like I am giving a lecture at Melwood. Just a little effort on your part and we might move the needle. Right now you are acting braindead.

Your question is a diversion, ignoring it does nothing to discredit me, but everything to show the weakness of your argument.

No, you are in the process of trolling. You have not done anything to save dignity after refusing to admit you are wrong. Its really, really simple MACHINE GUNS ARE NOT ILLEGAL.

If Im acting braindead, its because trying to show the light to someone as dull as yourself requires event the most common of man to dummy it down for you...... because machine guns are not illegal.

Not illegal. Nope. No more illegal than driving a car. Sure, you must go through the bureaucratic steps, but again, red-tape and regulation dont make something illegal. Its really quite the opposite. The burecratic process and red-tape serve to prove that the guns are not illegal. If they were illegal, the law would be 4 words long "Machine Guns are Illegal".... Its the other 56 pages that follow that explain all of the ways they are not illegal.....

Your logic says all shotguns are illegal because sawed-offs are. At first I thought we had a cute lil flame war, but Im beginning to realise that you may just in fact, be that fucking dense.

Enjoying life as a bottom?

You can keep claiming that but you know it isn't true. Are you refusing to answe because you don't want to admit that 18 USC 922 is found in the CRIMES AND CRIMINAL PROCEDURES title? JBass, I think you might be able to get this one. If something is listed as a crime, is it illegal or legal? What's that? I couldn't hear you over your stammering.

Come at me with a STATE code section from a Title dealing with automoniles and compare it to FEDERAL Criminal Statute? Who's trollin, clown boy? What's that JBass, if something is a crime, it is illegal?

You are right, red tape doesn't make it illegal, the FUCKING CRIMINAL CODE DOES.

No worries, I never mistook you for a troll. Your overflowing stupidity has been apparent from post one.

Go tell a judge that a crime is not illegal. I want to see that reaction.

Oh man, you are so cute. Yup, it says it right there they are illegal EXCEPT for the exception of having a license.

Just like our Virginia law says its illegal to operate a motor vehicle EXCEPT for the exception of having a license

Yup, Driving is Illegal. Boom. Its in the law.

Ill accept that machine guns are illegal when you admit that it is just as illegal to drive a car.

TONS of crimes on the books like that.

http://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/18/2511

None of these are crimes either, right?

Not a criminal code, dipshit. You are in a motor vehicle code section. Do you understand the difference between the criminal code and the motor vehicle code. Probably not, as that is a pretty simple concept too. Who ties your shoes in the morning?

Not the same type of comparison, but your brain cell can't grasp the obviously simple concept.

Nah, I'll let your illogical and idiotic statements stand on their own.

Ive always wondered... How do people as stupid as you make it through life? How do you negotiate with a repairman? Register to vote? Change your oil? Do you get SS benefits for having the mental capacity of a kumquat?

What was that you were saying about diversionary tactics? Thanks for the admission of defeat, JBass. Whereas I was leading you down the path to see the right answer, you went awry with your diversionary questions.

I will put my "making it through life" up against what has to be your pretty mundane and mediocre existence any minute of the day.

You've got nothing left. You are now in a position to argue that something listed as a crime is somehow legal just because there is an exception. You really want to stick with comparing it to a state motor vehicle title statute?

Really? Because I could swear that people found to be driving without a license are arrested by real police (not given a demerit point by DMV) They go to a real courthouse and see a real ADA and a real judge.... they face arrest and criminal prosecution.

Yes, it really is. 2 acts, both illegal without a license. Neither of which would I consider 'illegal' in the context you are using it here.

Machine guns are not illegal. They are legally bought and sold everyday, taxes paid.

Oh man. Now you are making value judgements over the internet. Youve jumped the shark, ran your course.

You are saying machine guns are illegal like murder is illegal. Murder is illegal 100% of the time, no exceptions. Machine guns are illegal without a license. An Average joe can get the license... I dont have to be a scientist or government goon. I ca go through the process simply because I want to..... Yeah, really illegal, man.

Funny how your own words keep damning you. Don't worry, JBass, it happens to a lot of stupid people.

Besides, JBass, we've seen your shitty suburban office. Not that hard to make a value judgement based on all the shit you post about yourself here.

I am saying they are illegal because the criminal code says they are. Not really that difficult, unless we are talking about your level of intelligence.

FYI.....

Listed as being in Northern Virginia.

That's in Virginia isn't it?

Why would anyone argue about gun laws in Colorado on a Fairfax, VA forum?
