I thought this was Christopher Nolan's last Batman movie even if Batman lives or dies but seems like the movie ends setting up more adventures for some element of the dynamic duo

Will Adam West replace Michael Caine?

No he doesn't. He just appears to die when the bomb that Bane and Talia al Ghul were planning to use to blow up Gotham City detonates and destroys the Bat as he's flying it out of range. He used the autopilot, which is why we see him with Selina in the same restaurant as Alfred.

When Detective Blake's real name is revealed to be Robin and he finds the Batcave, you know he's supposed to become the new Batman.
