An employee reported when she attempted to enter a room to clean she discovered the door was locked from the inside. The employee was able to look inside the window and observed an individual lying on the floor. MPO Shaw responded and along with members of the Fairfax Fire and Rescue Department it was determined the individual had been deceased. This case is being investigated.

Officer Herrera made contact with the occupants of the room and after his interaction with them he located a measurable amount of marijuana. Officer Herrera issued summonses to a 23 year old female from Lees Corner Road in Chantilly, Virginia, a 27 year old female from Westwind Way in McLean, Virginia, a 22 year old man from Maple Leaf Court in Springfield, Virginia, a 22 year old man from Hamilton Court in Lorton, Virginia, a 24 year old man from Grayson Street in Springfield, Virginia and a 21 year old man from Meadowood Drive in Alexandria, Virginia for Possession of Marijuana. All the individuals were released after signing their respective summonses.

A guest of the hotel called 911 to request a taxi take him to Arlington, Virginia. Officer Tremont responded and spoke with the visibly intoxicated individual who confirmed he called 911 to request a ride. Officer Tremont informed him calling 911 to request a taxi was not an acceptable reason to call 911. The individual agreed and stated he would stay in his room until he was sober enough to leave. Approximately five minutes later Officer Tremont was informed the individual had again dialed 911 and requested another ride. Officer Tremont responded back to the Wolf Trap Hotel and spoke with the individual who again requested a ride to Arlington. Officer Tremont was unable to grant his request for the ride to Arlington; however, he was able to provide him with a ride to the Fairfax County Adult Detention Center. After arriving the 64 year old man from North Nash Street in Arlington, Virginia was charged with Drunk in Public and Falsely Summoning the Police. He was to be held until he was sober.

MPO Shaver responded and found the door to the room in question open and a billow of smoke coming from inside. MPO Shaver made contact with the occupants of the room and determined that although no marijuana could be found all the occupants had been illegally consuming alcohol. MPO Shaver issued summonses for Underage Possession of Alcohol to Mr. Tim Troulo, 18, of Pimmit Drive in Falls Church, Virginia, Ms. Nataly C. Martins, 18, of Valer Court in Vienna, Ms. Andrea Martinez, 18, of Pimmit Drive in Falls Church, Virginia, Mr. Ulises MoralesMontenegro, 18, of Edgar Court in Falls Church, Virginia and Mr. Joshua Isaac Higgins, 19, of Centcellion Drive in Mclean, Virginia. All the individuals were released after signing their respective summonses. One of the occupants was determined to be a juvenile. His father was contacted and responded to the hotel and took his son home. This case is being investigated.

Plenty of crimes take place at the Hampton inn and the best western too!

They better be. Traffic is a mess there as it is. Two light cycles to get from in front of McDonald's to the other side of Nutley? Ridiculous. As a matter fact, traffic light timing all along 123 in Vienna is a joke. Worse case if you have a car and are willing to drive the motel 6 or the days in in Fredricksburg runs more like $40 a night if you are booking a week at a time- just budget an extra $100/mo on your gas and 45 min. each way to get from here to there.

1740 a month is not too bad for the location. You figure you have no utilities, no property tax, no maintenance costs, daily maid service and you can leave anytime you want. They give you a microfridge and you could probably get away with a toaster oven and a hotplate. I have spent a couple nights there in the last couple years and the place is not bad.

I hope the hotel does not get torn down anytime soon. I love staying there a few times a year.

Looks like the developer is getting stopped dead in his tracks. The Town changed the zoning requirements that would require a much smaller building with wider easements from the street.

I saw some workers putting new HVAC units in some of the rooms. Like a whole truckload of HVAC units. They would not be replacing them if the building was getting torn down. Looks like the Wolftrap lives on for now!

I think after the Sunrise Living fiasco, the WAWA drama and numerous pushbacks to the entire MAC process by the citizens of Vienna, the Board has probably put a hold on projects like the one that was slated for the Wolf Trap/Tequila Grande parcels. They had so many projects lined up (Giant shopping center, Library, Marco Polo, Coldwell Banker, Wolf Trap/Tequila Grande, Wade Hampton, Police Station, etc.) I think they themselves didn't know what the hell was going on and certainly weren't able to convey it properly to the residents.

The wolftrap hotel is now getting new mattresses. This is a good sign!

Last time I stayed there the room rate had jumped to 70 bucks. The Asian jerkey girls still charge only 50 for their services though.

Spent my fair share of nights there when I was drinking. Close to a year sober now, but it gave me a bed when I had nobody and nothing, for an almost reasonable price. Sad to hear its finally closing. Tons of roaches there too btw, since its closing soon I might as well just say it. Roaches literally fucking everywhere. I looked behind a painting one time and about 50 roaches scattered all over the place.

They are still renting rooms. See cars in the lot all the time. I would imagine until the decision to redevelop that corner is made by the Vienna Government, they will continue to try and make some money. Some rooms are boarded up, and it looks like hell. But they are open for business.

That happens all the time in the hotel industry. The best hotels get the new stuff and the older stuff is handed down to the 2 and 1 star hotels.
