Who gets the Nobel Peace Prize while conducting two wars and authorizes drone strikes in a country we are not at war with. Oh wait Bush did it too you say? Well I didnt see Bush getting a Nobel Peace Prize.

Considering that they gave it to him for 'potential' I don't think many thought that he deserved it, even him. And given that his actions haven't met that potential, maybe he should return it.

I don't think Obama deserved the Nobel Peace Prize, either. Seriously. I'm not sure why he got it. My best guess is it was a bad year for candidates.

Obama won the prize because most of the world despised the Bush/Cheney administration as a group of dangerous thugs. I don't necessarily agree with that, but when Obama took office it was a sign that our foreign policy might be a little less ignorant. Obama won because GWB was extremely unpopular. Republicans just have a tough time swallowing that.

Why would Republicans have a problem with that?
Being black and not Bush were recognized as being the sum total of his qualifications.
