Figures this happens down south....
These idiots wanted to pass a law that allowed state money to fund religious schools (not sure how that's constitutional), but suddenly they changed their minds when it dawned on them that it might be used to fund, ya know, those non-christian religious schools.
"I actually support funding for teaching the fundamentals of America’s Founding Fathers’ religion, which is Christianity, in public schools or private schools…Unfortunately it will not be limited to the Founders’ religion"

This is the central point about the whole funding of religious schools that non-Christians have been making for a long time. As a non-Christian, why should MY tax dollars go to support your belief system? Isn't enough that we allow tax exempt status for religious institutions?
