Ummm, there are no Canadiens in the DC metro area. Sure you see Ontario/Quebec license plates, but they are just passing through or are here for the museums. Sorry, July 1st is already taken. Maybe they could join their fat cousins to the south and celebrate 4th July. That's all.

I also like to add i've been to Canada few times (and have fam members there), they are some of the nicest people i've seen (except when my flight was delayed in montreal, and the just ignored me and wouldn't help me), but other than, July 1st is known all over the world as a Somali Independence Day. Sorry Canada. Most people think u are Americans anyways. Or i atleast use to think that before i moved here.
