Conservatives Not Happy With Romney, But Have to Vote for Him

Sad when people say, "If we have to we'll vote for him." LMAO

The socially-conservative men and women who are gathering in Washington, D.C. for the annual Faith & Freedom Conference Thursday are strong advocates of traditional marriage who have been highly critical of President Obama's endorsement of same-sex marriage.

But when it comes to presumptive Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney, they aren't necessarily opposed to a marriage of convenience."At this point, I've got to feel comfortable with him," said Family Research Council President Tony Perkins, who will speak at the three-day conference on Saturday.

"There's the choice before us of Barack Obama or Mitt Romney. There are no other choices as I see it," Perkins continued. "He wasn't the first choice but I look at what he has to offer as opposed to what Barack Obama has to offer, and I'm for Mitt Romney."

And they will. Unlike the suckers who were fooled by Oblahblah the first time who won't turn out.

Union support - down
Black support - down
Independent support - down

You've already been fooled. You're about to elect Mitt Romney as the republican candidate. Romney is more liberal than Obama.

Romney is just saying anything to get elected.

Glad to see that you're conceding failure and defeat. lol

You don't seem to understand that in a similar way to how many voted for anyone but Bush last time, they'll be voting for anyone other than Obama this time.

Romney's fine with me. He's as close as we'll get to a moderate these days.

Don't you mean "Anybody but Romney!" The same as "No way Palin!"

That wasn't the subject of the thread. But for Dems the same motivation doesn't really apply this time out. Might try one that in 2016 after his first term.
