Gmail or Hotmail

I have been with Hotmail since the beginning and always liked it. I've had the same email account for 8yrs now and most people know it. A lot of the people i talk to are always trying to get me to switch over to Gmail. I've looked around Gmail and haven't really noticed anything different from Hotmail. For those of you with Gmail accounts, what do you guy's like about it or hate it.

emails are useless and are becoming antiquated. i still have a hotmail account but i only use it for porn logins.

not sure, not sure if there is a need to replace it. in today's society i dont believe emails play an integral part. if tomorrow email was taken away, the world would not flinch. thats all

I don't think email addresses are going anywhere any time soon... I don't understand how people say email is going to be obsolete... It may not be used as a communication tool, but it's your little spot on the web... Storage, alerts, registration tool... I donno...

Anywaysss...

I used hotmail since way back in the day... but I have used gmail since the smartphone takeover... love it...

Honestly... just try gmail... It's not like it takes very long to register an email address... just register a gmail and see for yourself...

On a personal level, maybe. But for businesses the ability to send files and documents via email is invaluable.

I don't trust Google Mail. What most of you fail to realize is, Google is in bed with the Government (FBI/NSA/CIA) and others. Yahoo or Hotmail is better.

I'm considering changing over to FastMail because I don't really like Gmail's redesign.
