this is pretty funny. stumbled upon this site doing a search for an old friend. I can't believe people where I grew up are having a legitimate conversation about the best chain restaurant and there's a non ironic reference to Hypnotiq. dc might not be far from ffx, but jesus christ it's a different world. call me a snob, but thank god I got out.

Ruth's Chris, Morton's, McCormick & Schmick's. I also like Logan's, Bonefish and Outback. Black Eyed Pea is also the best of the so-called "home style" restaurants (think Cracker Barrel and Bob Evans, but good). I used to eat at the one in Fairfax City occasionally before it closed down.

I love how hipster now means anyone who is younger and cooler than you. It's not really the insult you hope it is since society has as yet failed to agree on any real definition of it, but rather serves as a way to identify yourself as a card carrying member of the bridge and tunnel crowd.
