Staples Word Lock

I just recently bought my Staples Word Lock. While I was setting my combination and after I set it, it would not click to close for some reason. Anyone whoever owns this product and could help me out here, I need some help. I set it on to the combination that I could remember but it just would not click for some reason. Please do not post any dumb comments here.
