I've had work boots that looked better than that after months on construction sites.

And yes, I am surprised she is from Jersey. My guess would've been Florida.

Now if she was charged with wacking somebody upside the noggin with a baseball bat and dumping the body in the woods while wearing too much makeup, then I might have figured she was from the Jerz.

It doesn't sound like there is any real proof that the child was tanning. Either way, based on the mother's appearance, she is addicted to tanning. I'm not saying she just really likes it, I'm talking some sort of compulsion or disorder.

She couldn't quite explain it. The burn marks had always been there.
