Geronimo fired his latest 2nd chair Chris on the air yesterday after a long argument with him about things said on Twitter by Chris, Don & others this past weekend. Just some trivial crap. It's been obvious to me over the past 2-3 weeks that Don had decided to get rid of him. Shortly after telling Chris to leave in the middle of the show, he called on the air an "anonymous" person to take over the 2nd chair and the listeners couldn't hear the other side of the conversation. The person said he could be in studio hopefully Wednesday (turns out it will be Monday). Then Don said it was a Bay Area person and that if he indeed started Wednesday, he would be able to handle the show solo on Thu and Fri (Don's taking off yet more days this time for his Father in Law's 90th birthday). Of course I instantly knew that Little Joe was coming back, which Don confirmed today on air. So it is obvious that Don had been talking to Joe over the past few weeks and had offered him the job again. Don must really think his listeners are stupid or something. Maybe a lot of them are?
