I love it when people come here and say people posting in this thread are obsessed and need to get a life, then they proceed over the next few hours or days continuing to argue with the more regular posters.

Let me quote you Dr. Head Doc,

" fat man/man boob fetish - not that there is anything wrong with that. Well, OK, there is something wrong with that."

Now to the casual observer it would appear you are somewhat conflicted with your own sexuality. This being the case it leaves one to wonder just exactly what kind of "Head" Dr. you are?

I submit a "knob to the nut, semen slurping, NAMBLA Head Dr.....

Am I right or am I right..............Am I right or am I right......

We now know what Dr. Gobbler looks like!

Trust me Dr. Gobbler. We know when you change your handle.I don't blame you though. The "Head Dr." thing didn't work out so well for you now did it?

You don't have to hide your identity here or run from your embarrassment by changing your name. Were not here to hurt you, were here to help.

At the height of its popularity, "Ask a Ninja" generated $1.2 million (in 2007). It hasn't done anywhere near that since.

"Ask a Ninja" was a moderate Internet sensation. Its first YouTube video had nearly five million views. The "Ask a Ninja" guys made their money primarily through merchandise sales. Their outlay was very modest, since they only produced a few dozen "shows" with very limited production values and not a lot of bandwidth on their end.

The fact is that this is the optimal...and unrealistically...the best Mike could hope for. However, in his case, Mike is paying for his bandwidth. So assume $120K out the door for that for a year. Then figure he has to pay Buzz, Rob(b) and Oscar something...maybe $200k total for a years. So that would leave about $800K left for Mike.

But let's be real. MoM isn't "Ask a Ninja." It never will be. MoM is MoM.

I bet he's not paying the crew anything but a percentage of advertising revenue and donations with Mike footing the start up costs at best. Depending on what if any contract he signed for the bandwidth most likely will determine the longevity of his latest business failure.

I wonder what the terms of a typical bandwidth contract for something like hes got going entail? 6 months ? a year?

This is what I have missed over the last several months since the Mike O'Meara show was cancelled.

It is great when some idiot ( such as Dr. Head ) and makes a total asshole out of himself. I am hoping that the Podcast continues so that Dr. Head can be continue to be a Dick Head.

And mike at best is a dime store Jack Diamond at best.

Needless to say listening to a fat guy getting drunk while doing a show just makes the listener aggitated at the fact the show is boring my socks off!

I betchya mike wears a "WTF blanket" aka Snuggy, when he is shuffling around the house getting drunk drinking a half gallon of Ruble Vodka straight from the bottle.

Oh and mike, you have been given clearance to remain as a topic of discussion here on FFxU because the lab work just came back and it certified that your lard content is high enough in nitrite/ nitrates, MSG, and transfatty acids. McSmacks Retort:

Ain't he smart? What a dumb ass logging on as "Head Doctor", I'm sure he thought that was clever.

And then there's the typical template all these idiot MOM supporters use like, " I don't listen to MOM", "I don't care one way or the other", " I just stumbled on this site and like messing with you guys" "you guys are losers and stupid" and on and on. The dumb fucks have repeated this mantra over and over on this thread since its inception.

I like listening to the Rush Limbaugh Show to but it has never dawned on me in 20 years to search and log on to spar with posters on a rush "hate site." I really don't understand the entertainment value in that.

Notice these idiots never support their premise that MOM is quality radio, It's always "Were stupid and their smart because They realize how stupid we are."
It really makes no sense at all unless they have a personel investment in the success of one , Mike O'Meara, or they are morons. This is why there is a strong likelihood members close to and inside the MOM circle are posting here with red flags all over them.

Either way these fuck sticks are transparent, easy to spot, and even easier to beat down and make them our bitch.... Just like Dr. Knob Gobbler.. AKA Head Dr.

How useless is the MOMS Twitter? http://twitter.com/mikeomearashow

Every single tweet is just a plug for the show/website, no actual content at all. None of them have any real knowledge of the internet, the podcast venture/twitter/facebook/etc. is just what they think all the kids are doing so this must be the best way to keep their names out there. What are they down to now, a dozen comments per show?

Mike is taking a break after being unemployed for six months.

Par for the course. Why didn't he just wait until after the first of the year to start his podcast?

The Junkies better watch out. I listened to B-Mitch this morning and he was a hell of a lot more interesting and insightful than those clowns. They may not be getting a contract renewal when it comes up. Wasn't B-Mitch working for $150K at WTEM? He would be a steal.

You would think "Super (Radio Talent) Agent" Bob Eatman would have advised the boys to stay on the air during the height of the NFL season, but I guess sick radio talent like the Junks, know best!

At the same time Eatman should advise MoM and his posse to turn off the laptop and quietly drift away...

If Eatman represents The Junkies, you have to give him credit for bullshitting Michael Hughes into paying this group of sad, over-aged frat boys to fail at WJFK the same way they failed everywhere else. What are their ratings now? 14th place? How much do they get paid to compete with a bunch of 20-somethings making $75K-a-year?

Ah, you really like demonstrating your stupidity. I didn't stumble upon this site. After looking on this site for many weeks, I finally clicked on the MoM thread to see what all the hoopla is about with 48 pages. All I found out is two dorks (mcsmack and WTL) get a boner about how bad o'meara is and for each other. Keep trying. You are really impressive.

I think the Junks moved up to Eatman when lightning struck and they were annointed to inherit Stern's morning spot at JFK.

No wonder Donnie G. was so bitter about that decision - he generated tons on ad revenues and ratings for CBS over the years only to be passed over by a goup of slackers with a broadcasting pedigree steeped in cable-access "shows". (In that sense, the Junks were sort of podcasting, before podcasting existed.)

Yes, we have to give Michael Hughes full credit for the Junks at JFK. Why not, he fucked up everything else at 10800 Main St. in Fairfax, VA.

To be fair, my take on that was that Donnie G wanted Hughes to kiss his ass and offer him a shitload more money for the morning drive slot. Donnie was being too cute at playing coy and Hughes called him on it. That's why Donnie G was bitter.

That said, the move to The Junkies was idiotic. These guys really should be doing a late night or weekend show somewhere. They don't have the chops to do a good morning drive program in a market like DC.

I agree - Donnie's stance that he was the "good soldier" passed over for Stern's primo AM slot by a bunch of no-talent punks is/was too self serving.

Donnie's mega ego lobbying for the AM gig was in play every step of the way, and as a result he pissed off Hughes, who was the decision-maker for CBS.

Bad gamble Donnie, if you had won that battle, you and MOM would probably still be on JFK, drawing top top 10 or 15 ratings.

Right up to his end @ JFK, Don coveted the AM drive-time slot, and he or Michael Hughes approached the Junkies, soliciting them to move to PM drive - which they declined, on air.

Frieda's passing pushed Don past the point of no return in terms of JFK IMHO, but I also think the D&M show had taken a turn to a darker, angry mind set prior to her tragic end. I think being passed by as Stern's replacement was the source of the bitterness to Hughes and JFK.

But, what do I know? Hopefully the truth will be revealed in Chapter X of the upcoming 'Biography of Donnie G.".

- Isn't it something that we're doing a podcast (that Mike claims isn't really a podcast)?

- Isn't it something that we are doing our podcast drunk?

- Something interrupted us while we are doing our podcast.

I was wondering about this also.

If there are any covenant restrictions where he lives for home operated businesses.

Limbaugh has this crappy little studio a few miles from his home in West Palm Beach he uses because of restrictive covenant clauses. It is no more than a dumpy little lease space in a strip mall. Funny as shit in a hat.

Looks like The Junkies' days may be numbered...

JFK Seeks Pairing For Mitchell - 12/23 - While the Junkies are away on Christmas vacation, the programmers at new CBS sports talker WJFK, 106.7 The Fan, seem to be doing some show test pairings during the morning slot. Yesterday, it was Scott Jackson and Brian Mitchell. Today, it's Al Koken (right) with Jackson and Mitchell. We've heard that former Redskin Mitchell is in-line for a JFK show. It sure sounds like the station's suits are trying to determine a radio partner for him. Stay tuned.....

Does Mike have four extra folding chairs for his podcast?

Interesting. Maybe Wise is out, Junks to mid-day? But if they aren't getting any ratings in the AM, it would be worse mid-days, unless they move to the Dukes/LaVar time slot in the PM. D&L ain't exactly generating monster numbers.

The problem with The Junkies is that they are part of the Michael Hughes legacy. They were brought in to replace Howard Stern. They haven't exactly generated Howard Stern numbers. In addition, the four of them may be getting paid $1 million + total to have a show in 15th place that doesn't generate enough sales revenue to support the cost of the show, much less turn a profit. CBS is probably looking at bringing in B-Mitch and a sidekick for $250K...total. Even if the station's ratings stay in the teens, it will be able to turn a profit with the lower cost associated with the program.

I have to admit that I have been enjoying Brian Mitchell's talk show while the Junkies are on vacation. It would be nice if the Junkies had a permanent vacation. At least Brian and his sidekick talk without being interrupted so that you can follow the points that they make.

I can only handle the Junkies for about 10 minutes as no one can ever finish a sentence. Brian Mitchell is much more articulate and informative about football than Lavar and much more interesting to listen to.

I wish I could comment on Mike O'Meara but I stopped listening to him back in May.

So Mike starts this podcast for two reasons:
1. Get Picked Up by New Stations.
2. Make money off the podcast.

Situation 1 – Get up by new stations – That ain’t gonna happen. If you can’t pick up even one station when you are on a CBS flagship station, you sure as hell ain’t gonna pick up a station from a 1 hour podcast. Your radio days are gone.

Situation 2 – Make money off the podcast. Welcome to the wonderful world of self-employment Mike. No Medical, no matching 401k, no unemployment and social security. If you are self-employed you have to shoulder a huge self-employment tax and then if you add in the other perks, you are looking at having to make 2 to 2 ½ what you want your salary to be.

So let’s say all 4 guys want to make the pit alee amount of $50,000 a year per person. They are actually going to have to bring in around $100,000 a year per person to account for a 38% self-employment tax that also pays into their Social Security. So 4 guys = $400,000 to make $50,000 a year per guy.

Now take into consideration operational cost (bandwidth, computer, equipment, etc) let’s put that at $100k even a year. So the MOM podcast is a $500,000 drain a year for the guys to make a crappy $50,000 a year (no medical, insurance, etc).

Now to attract advertisers, they need to have a return on investment of at least 2 to 1. So for every $1 dollar spent by an advertiser, at the very least, they have to guarantee a $1 dollar profit (so $2 for every one dollar in). So if I am an advertiser and I put $5000 into the MOM show into advertising, I should expect(at the very least) $10,000 in return.

So for the MOM show to make $500,000 a year for Mike and others to make $50,000 salary(no dental, no medical, no 401K) the MOM show has to generate over $1,000,000 in advertising revenues for their clients.
Do I think this will happen, No.
Mike is done. He should have worked harder when he had a job. He was handed the world and he blew it.

While it's possible that Mike could have done nothing to prevent what happened to him, the fact is he had one of the best mentors he could have had in radio and decided to ignore about 100% of what this mentor tried to teach him over the years.

Given the state of the economy and, in particular, the squeeze being put on radio by declining sales revenues, you would think 'ol MOM might, just might have exerted some effort and battled for a position at JFK after the sports format flip.

There weren't many spots available, but given a pay cut, he could have been paired with Wise or LaVar.

But, something tells me MOM wasn't going to take anything less than his current JFK salary, and of course, there **had** to be a "MOM Show" at the Fan.

His ego is a inflated as his liver.

No one @ JFK needs to do four hours of anything, other than be at the station, I don't think on-air people need to sustain a thought or conversation for longer than 8 minutes before it's break time!!

Chad Dukes will say "the phones are locked and loaded" for three segments before he actually takes a call: "Here's Ron from Woodbridge - quickly Ron, were up against a break...".

Geez, thank god for XM/Sirius.

You're right, I'd forgotten about Borat. Maybe Mike could call his "Bor-ing."

Donnie G carried Mike for years. Now poor, talentless Mike has to try to make it on his own. Good luck, you bloated, mindless turd.

I took a random stroll to MOMS.com today to see how bad the latest show's description would be:

Desmond Twenty-Two-Tu!

"Battle the cold with 60+ minutes of topics like petite Mexican dogs, Zorniness, and multiple pairs of socks. Good times."

Who the hell finds this shit remotely amusing?

How long are they going to keep up the insipid numbers thing?

I've tried to listen a couple times now and I have to stop after about 5 minutes because it is the opposite of entertaining; is there a word for that?

One would think that with MOM being unshackled from the restraints of FCC regulations (just send a censored copy to your "affiliate") he would do some creative things, give us the real story about the management at JFK, have his posse go through his house and make fun of the stuff they find, go mock tourists downtown, etc. Just do something other than sit on a fucking couch and be boring. The stupid shit that my friends say over the course of an hour is more interesting than his podcast.

It boggles my mind that this podcast is supposed to open up his next big radio opportunity. Give it up and start going on interviews.

Jesus. You people are pathetic. The man's trying to do a show. I'm not even going to try to write a well composed argument as to why you only prove yourself to be intellectually repugnant basement dwellers when you obsess over one person's failing career (on the internet no less) in perpetuity. And you claim you have no vested interest in this, but the 48 pages of poorly written discourse and "hilarious" jabs to the personal lives of mike and anyone in proximity to him is completely contradictory to your claim. Act like grown-ups! This is absurd!

He's not doing a show. He's waddling into his living room for an hour a day and doing shit that is not entertaining in the slightest. Look at that YouTube video of him walking in. I seriously think the man may need medical attention.

Yes, I agree this "SHOW" is absurd.

So is your choice of descriptive terms when it came to insulting "us all".

Seems like the overwieght guy remark should have been used to describe the Fat

And White Person's cock you presently cradle in your mouth who you have so

vehemently defended.

You mean Psyciatric Attention?

Looked to me like he had just crawled out from under some bridge or cardboard

box.

Not as pathetic as doing a podcast from my living room and having "station breaks" for imaginary radio stations "down the line."

"Trying" is the operative word. "Succeeding" is something entirely different.

One person's "repugnant" is the rest of the world's "funny."

> And you claim you have no vested interest in this,

We don't. Here is the definition of vested... protected or established by law, commitment, tradition, ownership, etc.: vested contributions to a fund. That does not apply to us.

No it's not. See above.

> Act like grown-ups!

When Mike gets a job and acts like a grown-up, maybe we will.

> This is absurd!

Why do you care? Nobody is forcing you to read this.

We post our criticism on this forum because MOM removes any critical feedback from the comments section of his website. I believe that makes him the pathetic one. He is afraid to acknowledge the opinions of other people if they do not conform with his.

Didn't he have something on his site about "if you donate, your name will be put on our wall of sponsors?" I don't think I see that language anymore. What's up with that?

It's funny. If you read some of the comments on the show site and Facebook, his "followers" are coming up with excuses for why they haven't given.

It's easy to be a supporter of the show when you don't have to actually do anything.

Mike needs to hang this up and get cracking on that mid-day slot in Roanoke.

Or they've just given up and have decided to sign up for the welfare rolls.

This means he should be losing a few rolls!

Mike should be losing a lot of weight with all the crow he has been eating over the past year-and-a-half.
