Mike won't make jokes about PC subjects because he's afraid to go contrary to current culture. A lot of people call this "virtue signaling".

He will mock certain things that he thinks are safe--which strangely seems to be minorities and veiled shots at blacks. Probably because he's an effete middle class white man and doesn't even realize he thinks that makes him superior to most minorities. He's a hippocrite.

I don't mind cutting edge humor. I miss hearing it from 3 guys who made a fortune at one time as "shock jocks".

Did you know that Mike used to play Prince's music when he was a DJ spinning records in clubs? It's true. Hard to believe, I know. Mike doesn't really like to talk about those DJ-in-the-clubs days. So he took Prince's death pretty hard. It stands to reason that he would have a tribute show. They were like brothers, those two. If Prince had a will, I'm sure Mike would have been given all of Paisley Park.

If Mike had a compound, it would be called Pastry Park.

You're right! Like brothers.... Mike and Prince were close. He was as much a Prince fan as he is a first responder or a military man. And as a former Cop, Mike takes these tragic deaths hard. He feels that if just more people "got it", especially celebrities like Prince and Patton's wife, he could save some lives.

I understand that Doris Roberts' death hit Mike very hard. If she'd lived and he still had a radio career, he hoped to someday interview her and hit on her like Don Geronimo did. Now he's denied that chance.

Like Robb, I was also once a solid 8, healthwise. Right after my near-death automobile accident. I'm a lot better now.
