Don't worry peekza, I'm sure this one spends the rest of his day on FB accusing people who repost Youtube videos of stealing too. Especially if the video includes a wife or daughter. Since that includes every woman in the world, I assume he's pretty busy.

There is no 'effing way. It has to be the "younger than LFF mother-in-law". Just... no... that's not the side profile of a college student. It could be Hillary Clinton for fuck's sake.

Mike's post encapsulates his philosophy regarding comedy. If he can do a good impression, content is irrelevant. That explains his lack of show prep. And he can also cheat on his lamer impressions by employing catchphrases and Robb's resets ("Who are you?").

Funny, LFF actually agues against his own "skill". Content is irrelevant and so is the ability to do impressions. As long as you can cast someone who looks and sounds exactly like the guy you're lampooning it's instant comedy!

Talk about empty calories. I've listened to it, and out of 104 minutes, this is what I remember: digitizing A&C, and the visit to the horse barn auction; some dog talk and some dogs 'talking'; long and pointless something or other about Savannah, maybe about bars or Halloween? Fuck if I know.

That's all I got.

Don't forget the magic formula of doing absolutely jackshit to promote other podcasts on their "network".

From a reddit discussion on podcast networks:

"I think you have to look into what the network is offering you and what they want back in return. The network my show is on pushes out new episode releases on all their social media platforms. All they asked in return is we shout out their name in every episode. I've known some networks that want you to play a clip from them introducing their show or you can only be part of their network exclusively. As far as benefits my downloads make up 40% of the traffic coming from their advertising so it can be beneficial."

TMOS on the other hand will use the Time Value of Money and ABV metrics to bring your podcast to "the next level" which is apparently the grave.

I think he was trying to say they had already paid libsyn for It's Mickey for the month of October, so it didn't matter if they took it down now, or waited until the end of the month.

From a financial standpoint, perhaps, but it also clutters up the layout to keep active links to inactive shows. One would think someone so inclined to "keep it tight" wouldn't have a website that was slow, lazy and behind the times.

Then again, with this operation slow, lazy and behind the times are pretty much in the mission statement.

Maybe so, but does that mean they're paying monthly for Headdd Radio, on the offchance that that fat fuck, on a tater tot casserole and Old Fashioned binge, gets the ambition to waddle downstairs and put an episode together for no one? Last episode: mid August of 2014.

Everything Bubby said and also that Oscar just wants Mike to stop creating unnecessary makework when he barely participates in the business.

"We've all had to become broadcast engineers."

-- Mike "Fuckwaddle" O'Meara, failed club DJ, failed broadcaster, failed restaurant owner, failed father, failed dieter, failed barfighter, failed sailor, failed weight-loser, failed walking-all-the-way-home-er, failed row-boat-boarder, failed lobsterman-ride-along-er, failed staying alive-er.

But totally a broadcast engineer, amirite?

Some of the dumbest people I have met in life have MBAs (from much better schools than whatever mail-order house Oscar is paying). MBAs don't take the place of common sense. If Oscar had any business acumen, he would have jumped the SS Failcast years ago. MBAs can't undo stupid.

You can almost hear Mike's flop sweat as he contemplates Oscar leaving after he gets his MBA. "I only ask that you train your successor." LFF is delusional about many things but not about relying on Spewak to handle any details of keeping the podcast running.

He even has LFF saying price point for no good reason. I have no doubt that LOLscar is a hard worker, but he really doesn't seem that bright.

I can't see any need for the term "price point" in any sense when it comes to the failcast. I mean I'm not an economist but it seems irrelevant in reference to this...

Take into consideration that if there was a money value of time, you would go bankrupt listening to the show.

Yes, still plodding along. As old D&M fans, we can't look away, and are forensically documenting its decline. Consider us the podcast equivalent of the Danish zoo, except we're dissecting the giraffe before it's dead.

Peek is the equivalent of the grieving, sobbing widow throwing herself into the grave of her husband. No criticism, p -- it's highly entertaining.

Today's recording starts with

LFF bleating "... if, and I'm talking about the heterosexual community"
Headdd "Sure, sure"
LFF "if, which is really..."

I heard the whole exchange. It was something like this: "Mr. Thickness is universally despised if, and I'm talking about the heterosexual community, not hated..."

Headdd "Sure, sure"

LFF "which is sad, because the gays love him. LOVE him"

This has bugged me for a couple years now. Oscar and his "Please, please, please be my friend" Todd use price point to describe the cost of a single item.

Two thoughts:

First, I agree. When Oscar played it cool that day Carla claimed he and Headd were going to potentially screw Mike over I lost a little respect for him. He should have walked.

But second; it may really be over for the podcast. For the most part Oscar's the only one we praise on this board. When we turn on him it probably really is the end!

I agree that Oscar was born on third and thinks he hit a triple. Unfortunately for him, he plays for some Podunk farm league team near Fort Myers managed by an obese, drunk Irishman who once made it to the majors as a fourth outfielder who warmed the bench for All-Star slugger Don Geronimo. This is the same manager who made the fat kid from "A League of Their Own" his ace pitcher. Oscar is getting what he deserves.

As a long time listener since D&M, they really should know and care that I exist. I know there are others out there like me who have been trying to support this podcast, but can't stand to quietly witness it become the absolute shitshow it's turned out to be.
