No ... they're still there and I'm retweeting them. Be sure to select "All" (vs Top) at the top of the twitter results page.

Rob(b)'s "resume"? When he talks about his work history, he should weep with shame and anguish. His fucking resume is a mockery of the notion that a man should work for a living and support his family. He's a hobbyist with a bad attitude.

Todays show was almost good. The news and audio vault were crap like normal, but the first half of the show had a level of honesty that we almost never see. They talked about the past and Mike even mentioned Buzz, Marc and RJ by name saying that they were a part of them getting to show 1000. There was actual ball busting too. They even mentioned the fact that people who were critical of the show were participating in the #tmos100 event. It just sucks to know that they won't prepare for tomorrows show the same way. You can tell they put a little extra care into this episode, as they should have, and it showed.

Well put. I think the show would be so much better if they were more real like they were today. That's my big problem with it. The fake characters (or lack of realness, honesty) they put on detracts from what could be good.

Good show today. I listened to the vignette, which I normally skip. Won't comment on that. But the middle was strong, and really reminds one how much stuff has gone down on the show. The news was slickly presented and Robb has put together a few good vaults lately. Good stuff, TMOS.

The way to make the "haters" - and disappointed fans like me - quiet down is to put in string shows. I respect the 1000 show run, and hope the show is strong after the upcoming move.

I'm spent. Finding new and creative ways to tell Robb he suck and is an asshole takes some serious effort. Not that there isn't lots to draw on, just in trying to keep it fresh! I'd like to think that he saw some of it but that would take work and we all know he isn't doing any of that.

Hate to take the attention off of the hilarious tmos1000 takeover that happened, but Don basically just announced he's doing a podcast with a crew (I'm assuming Ardinger since he just packed up to get out of Sac). I think it's hilarious that not only did Don get a job on the station that fired the LFF but he's now going to be a direct competitor with the failcast. Remember when Mike said that Don being on the radio doesn't matter because Mike's a podcasters now? Well how is he going to cover up his true feelings now?

It's not that there is anything to get. The crazies just like to mindlessly repeat it because Mike says it. They are honored just to speak the same words he speaks.

I doubt he'll join either, he has enough followers to make it without help from them. He's still living in Sac, I wonder if he has to give back the equipment CBS set up for his 106.7 show in his house? if he can buy it or has already bought it from them he's pretty much ready to go. I'll pay to listen. I listened a lot when he had the KHTK show and I enjoyed it, I think his will be similar to a satellite radio show instead of a podcast on a radio station.

I saw that too, and truthfully, at this point I can't see any way for Don and Mike to work together again. It would be entertaining for the 10 minutes it would take Mike to ban Don from the network for being a hater.

In Doni's own words, a lot of his show wasn't sports, but "sportsy". More and more of the content is only tangentially sports related. I have been wondering how he was going to transition out of football season, because I always got the impression he was more of an NFL guy than an all around sports guy. He never seemed to be a baseball fan like LFF claims to be, and basketball was more about keeping the Kings in Sac.

At least Don's show will turn up on torrent, like BOAD, but unlike the failcast.

Don's Sac show wasn't anything exciting, but I did like listening. Gives me the same "comfy" feeling (can't really find the appropriate words to describe it) I had when listening to D&M in the afternoons.

I can't say TMOS does the same. It's hard not to get past O'Meara's angry, bitter personality. Especially if he goes on his many "Rich people are evil and I'm a victim" rants/comments. Spewak is just plain bad. Nothing that comes out of his mouth is entertaining and tolerable.

No benefit of warm fuzzy doubt here.

Why the 1000th show sucked major ass:

The long SUCK poem at the beginning. It was LONG and it SUCKED.

The talking about how "we" hooked up cables, which is basically connecting computers, a Replay, and a mixing board, something any wannabe rapper Trayvon can do in his bedroom while skipping middle school.

Plus Fuckwaddle never hooked up a cable in his fat life. RJ set up the studio. Did he get a notice for it? No-wo-wo. Fuck Mike O'Meara.

The news segment.

The audio vault.

The stuff in between. The lies. The lies about "corporate". About how much better the current situation is. The fact the FDB is still wasting my oxygen.

If I was Mike, I would be scared of some of my so-called "fans".

Most of those numbers came from the trolls, which was funny, and then just a few of Mike's fans.

One of Mike's fans who "Gets it", Tigan Knauss posted and retweeted minute after minute for hours on end. The scary thing is that this guy appears to be a teacher who works with school children.

Not only are those twitter numbers horrible, most of the numbers are made up of Troll posts and a few nutjob fans.

i'm on the friday show right now, and i'm actually getting some laughs at the beginning of the show. robb has no clue how a snowblower works, so they're giving him crap about it. since mike's involved in the crap-giving, robb's not using his standard oscar comebacks, like "you're an asshole". actually pretty damn funny!

Fete our husbands' 1000 podcasts over 4 years? Really? We put in the same number of work hours in 20 weeks. #tmos1000

I think DonnieG is serious, and it just happens to be April 1st that his CBS contract dies. If you listen to him on Phantom and Craig's show, he's been toying with the podcast idea for months now. One of his biggest problems has been 'how do you monetize it' - I believe he discussed it with Buzz when he did his podcast. Well, add a monthly fee similar to BOAD's Reloaded, and bingo bango.

Not to mention the dude's net worth is like 4 mil+, so he's not exactly relying on Kappy to do what he wants to do.

I am super excited if that comes true. The tension with TMOS will be amazing. I'd buy a year's subscription of DonnieG's show the minute it was announced.

I bet that DonnieG won't be needing to tell people to 'try harder'.

I was under the impression that Don looked down at podcasting... I guess the changing radio biz "corrected" his opinion?

Been thinking about this while I was out today, he hasn't mentioned podcasting specifically and I don't remember if he ever burned any bridges with satellite, that would qualify for the pennies a day comment too, either way as long as the cost is less than Netflix, I'll buy in. I looked into BOAD since they were doing better and 10 bucks for 12 hrs a month, 8 that you get free anyway, is just too much for me to justify. I think my one provider limit is going to be around $5 a month.

Of course it's all dependent on how many hours a day and days a week he does.

It would be cool if the old gang did a monthly podcast. People would shell out for that. BUT, not to poop on Don, there's no room for him in the show that Mike has now. I'd rather Mike on a bad day than when Don was in Sac. That was rubbish.

Of course there's no room. Don would dominate that show almost immediately. But I happened to love the show DonG did in Sac. THAT was at least reminiscent of the old D&M days.

If Don and Mike did get back together, the fallout would be of nuclear proportions. There's no way Robbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb would make it on that crew, and I doubt Oscar either.

Disagree with everything there. Fuckwaddle and Fat Rob would bring the suck. I wouldn't pay for it. $tmosfail on its "best" day sucks the balls of any random Sac DG show.

I spend a lot of time working, listening to podcasts. I heard the newest MandL today and they were talking about hashtags and how they would soon have one that would make any other shows hashtag pale, an obvious dig at Mike. Then they talked about some big announcement coming soon for their network. right at the end Marc said he had just gotten a text from Buzz that said he had something good to tell them about the big news. They record their podcast the day before release about midday, before Don started doing his tweets yesterday. Has Buzz convinced Don to join them? I'd say they are giving him a huge chunk of the existing network income if he does.

I heard a lot of Don's shows in Sac and believe me, it sucked balls. I listened to D&M daily back in the day and his Sac show was nothing but a rehash of every old story and bit he did back on WJFK. I literally don't think he did or said anything he hadn't already done many, many times before. For those longing for his return, if you want to live in 1999 again you will be happy.

I agree that Don does tend to tell the same stories over and over but it is the way he tells them. Don has never lost the passion for radio and you cannot question his work ethic. It seems that Mike does the podcast out of financial necessity and I believe that Don will be on because he truly loves it. His time at 106.7 has him beaten down but I look for a revitalized Don to return in whatever incarnation is in store for us on April 1st.

I want to say thank you to all who joined the social media blitz, it was a lot of fun and I think it sent a message to the crew and their small number of die hard fans. I am grateful for this forum and the opportunity to vent frustrations here in the open without a moderator shutting me down.

I listed to Don & Mike back in the day, and I listen to several postcasts like Buzz, Big O & Dukes, and even the JB Postcast, whenever I get a chance. But it seems to me that a lot of the people that hate him here, deep down just hate Mike more for his politics than for anything else. People live and let live. I also listen on and off to radio shows like Michael Savage who is very conservative and watch Jon Stewart who is very liberal. I don't agree with all the stuff they say, but sometimes they are fun. There is room for all. At the end of the day it is just entertainment. You don't like it, just change the channel, play xbox, read a book, so many things to do and so little time, instead of posting pictures of his home or insulting Robb's career choices. I can't really understand the bitterness, life is so short, enjoy whatever good memories you might have and move on.

Peace
