To be fair, it was more of a list of complaints, than it was 14 paragraphs. Many of the items listed were just a sentence or two, but because they were separated in a list format, Mike called them paragraphs. In reality, Mike's responses were nearly as lengthy as my message.

But to answer your question, probably similar to the kind of loser that spends his days being an asshole to strangers on a message board.

Now if you'll excuse me, I have to go cry because some jerkoff on the internet says everyone hates me.

Good job, I bet your message really inspired me to change my ways.

So anyway, on Mondays's show Mike admitted got so fucking drunk in Vegas he didn't remember where his room was and Oscar had to call Hotel security to find LFF's room.

LFF also demanded Oscar to take his his debit card so he would stop gambling. 15 minutes later, drunk Mike starts demanding his card back from Oscar, getting more and more surly every time Oscar said no.

Jesus Christ. Why does Carla let him gamble/drink her kid's college education away?

It's such a bummer to hear doting Robb. He found Mike playing the slots, asked him if he needed anything, then scurried off to CVS to get his "Tom Leykis" appearing eyes some eye drops.

Mike isn't the Majority Leader of the Senate. Or CEO of a Fortune 50. Of head of the UN. He is an unemployed podcaster on vacation to Vegas.

I think if you have such a problem with gambling that you end up sleeping in your car with your wife, you probably should avoid booking trips to Vegas. Then again, I'm sure Mike will successfully project blame (Oscar not "trying harder," the casinos over-serving, Macuilxochitl the Aztec god of gambling) and avoid taking any and all personal responsibility.

And yes, I do feel this a valid entry into the conversation... Oscar had to call security? Wouldn't they book rooms close to each other, or make a mental note where the rooms were?

What was mike's poison this trip, since Guinness on tap, miller lite and Jameson's have done him so wrong?

Yep, Mike must've been losing money since he turned his card over to Oscar.

Also, he was to hungover the next day to attend the first CES.

Did they do a 5 minute "tech talk" to justify the show being at CES?

Listening to yesterday's show-- and it's thoroughly depressing. The content, the predictability/avoidability of it all...and the obvious fact that Mike really, really does think him drunk and gambling is comedy gold.

And Mike, quit acting surprised and/or chagrined that the night got away from you. You went out there with exactly that plan. You're not fooling anybody.

Oh, I don't even give him credit for a plan. He's got the self-control of a two-year-old. Put booze and a slot-machine in front of him, and he doesn't need a plan; it's just going to happen.

I've gone from sad and disappointed at the show, to just flat out disgusted. Mike, for whatever reason, needing to go to CES (on the backs of listeners) for a little post holiday vacation to get drunk and gamble (with the listeners money) revolts me. What is it they think they will take away from CES anyway? Mike doesn't understand the technology, nor does he want to.

I don't know why, but for some reason I'm marveling at that realization-- that Mike's not being disingenuous, or even necessarily lazy. He really thinks the shows where the guys tell stories about him getting drunk and gambling are fall-down funny. Which, in turn, explains why he doesn't see Oscar's enabling of him as destructive-- in his mind, the only thing Oscar's "enabling" is funny podcast content.

I want to say that might be my cue to stop listening, but it's like a car wreck. Morbid curiosity keeps me tuned in. Just, wow.

If it's a split in the marriage, it absolutely won't be discussed at any length. Mike will make sanctimonious noises about "respecting his privacy" and "wishing Carla well," and Robb and Oscar will solemnly use their "serious voices" to affirm his high-road wishes.

That said, it's hard to wrap one's brain around the idea of Mike putting in what I assume is a reasonably expensive, fully functioning podcast studio into his house, then walking away from it less than a year later to move to Florida. But then, long-term business planning has never seemed to be the MORE network's strong suit.

TMOS Stats is indeed a raging alcoholic attention whore with a made-up fiance who lives in Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada. And yes, you can doctor screenshots:

The fact that Fuckwaddle's game of choice is slots does not speak well of him. It is the rolling-over-in-your-sleep-and-masturbating-a-bit-before-you-start-really-sleeping-again of the gaming industry. Perfect for the alcoholic on a binge.

And Fat Rob will talk about how well Fuckwaddle is handling it with fairness to all, and not a word about how he fucked up his third marriage.

As for the studio, what's likely happening is Fuckwaddle moves most of the existing equipment to his formal rental property (goodbye, passive income) in the Sunshine State, and Oscar and Fat Rob do their part of the show out of Oscar's existing facility in NoVA. Fat Rob goes along with this because it's his only chance to play radio and not work at Costco. The beauty part is that Fuckwaddle doesn't have RJ to do the work anymore.

The studio has been there for far more than a year and it's not all that. Buzz probably has a better studio in his house. It's a couple computers, a replay machine, the box that does voice effects like the Sex Boy voice, a mixing board and a microphone. That's it. High school students have better studios. Niggers and spics have better studios.

It's not really a studio. It's a living room that stupid retarded Carla can't use.

I'm sure TMOS has some plan where they rent out O'Meara's FL home for the broadcast and O'Meara gets some $$$ in the deal. Oscar going down there to plug in some cables helps legitimate the scheme.

I was referring to the remodeled studio they have now, which at least looks like a pseudo-professional facility (but, sure, that may just be an illusion created for the UStream cameras). I just assumed it'd be harder to dismantle and transport a dedicated studio space than it'd be to simply pick the equipment up from the living room, as they would have had to do before the remodel. But, you're right, I'm probably overestimating the scale of the operation.

Wonder how putting in a podcast studio impacts the resale value of the "historic" house. Or, for that matter, how it'd impact how the house is treated in a divorce-- Mike could argue that giving Carla the house would impact his ability to make a living (such as it is).

Good Lord, are you a nigger, or a spic? Or just an AU graduate? Their "dedicated studio space" is a table they had built for free, in a living room that they moved all the furniture out of and fucked up the walls. THAT'S IT.

I'm not sure divorce or foreclosure would explain the move to Florida. However, and this is pure speculation, bankruptcy would. Florida is a Homestead exemption state. Ages ago Mike said he was going to stop paying certain bills (credit cards?). Wonder if it finally caught up with him.

Yeah, but that's not the move. The move is to liquidate ALL assets, and then buy the place in Florida. How much could a condo in Florida be worth at this point?

Bandwidth is only used if they actually get people to download... the RELM network page only has 295 likes, so who knows. Still, it does seem like Marc took the "Try Harder!" mantra to heart. You throw enough shit against the wall, surely a turd will stick eventually.

Carla (and probably FDB Jr?) was in FL, but didn't go to Vegas. Oscar mentioned watching some movie with LFF once she went to bed while he was down there setting up equipment. I don't think that points to a split. Maybe she's not going to work her high-dollar CFO job anymore. She can't keep taking a kid to work with her, that stops being feasible after they get 2 or 3 months old. If her mom isn't going to provide childcare every day, and FDB cannot be trusted to be alone with the kid for more than 20 minutes, she might not make enough (even those big time CFO bucks we're all so jelly of) to offset daycare.

Counting the minutes until TMOS Stats gets off the graveyard shift at his mall security job and starts stinking this place up with long-winded posts and too many commas.

Did Oscar really fly to Florida to plug in some wires? Is that really a legit use of Kappys money? How hard would it be to walk Mike through it over the phone?

Well, Robb couldn't do it...he would have reversed the wires' polarity and set the room on fire...

And FDB would have broken the "nipple" off inside the socket. So as sad as it sounds, it would probably be very hard to walk him through it. But he's a professional. He's like the firefighter (since we all know DJ's are exactly the same as first responders) who is an expert firefighter, with a degree from AU in Fire Science, who has worked at Fire Stations all over the area, but can't hook up a hose. Oh wait, that's not a thing.

So in 2014 Mike will be doing a significant amount of shows from Florida? And as far as the TMOS crew is concerned, apparently only he will be there? So the show's future success is reliant upon Mike's proficiency with broadcasting from multiple states away...

The end is near.

Mike mentioned on today's show that he's going to be spending a lot more time in Florida this year -- which is why he set up a new studio down there. But no mention of selling the 1903 Victorian. Guess he will be skyping in to the show more.

Heh. I love how, when Don lost his gig at KHTK, all the speculation was about where he'd work next, what city, what station, what format. When Mike makes noises about making a move, the speculation revolves around whether he's gone bankrupt, he's getting a divorce, or his house has been foreclosed on-- because speculating about him having gotten a radio job in Florida is patently absurd.

Remember, Mike is poor because he doesn't want to have to dip into his $4million retirement or sell his $799,000 Victorian or his Florida house.

The whole "poor Mike" thing is a scam to screw people like Kappy out of money.

I would like to thank my daughter-in-law Cary Spewak for working during Thanksgiving and Christmas to provide food and insurance for the family.

I would also like to thank her for working over 40 hours a week and now having to watch after the kids in this cold, frigid, weather while my son Rob is in sunny, warm, Vegas for 8 days playing around with all of his friends.

Thank you for being a responsible adult Cary Spewak and for being the man of the family since my son is such a failure.

Robb is going to parlay his $50 allowance into $37.

Regarding Mike's pension and house, I believe Mike is underwater on his house (owes more than it is worth), so it isn't an asset. As for the pension, he can't touch it for another 4 1/2 years without massive tax penalties. Even then, he will be receiving payments from it and won't exactly be living high on the hog.

Please if the FDB got a radio gig in FLA, he wouldn't shut up about it.

My guess is that he finally gave up on the DC market and he'd rather live down there (warm, old people, lax drinking laws, ...) and he wants to keep the podcast $ rolling in.

0 chance Jar Jar divorces him. Look at it from her PoV:
If she does:
1) She gets half of the assets (lulz, right)
2) FDB will have to pay child support (lol)

If she doesn't:
1) He will die soon and she can expedite that with pork products
2) She gets everything
3) Life insurance

She probably wanted a baby and she is probably damaged enough to think the FDB has good DNA. Once she got the kid, she realized what a waste the FDB is and she is doing it on her own.

So, why not just wait (since she is already doing it on her own, it isn't like having the FDB move out will change her situation all that much) and make sure he continues to drink, eat poorly, and fly into fits of rage.

I think Jar Jar has a plan and she is going to cash out when the FDB dies.

If Jarla was smart - she would divorce Mike now and leave with guaranteed HALF.

If she waits for Mike to die, she is bound to the will.

If he dies and leaves the money to the children and her, she will only get 1/4.

Hell, he could leave all the money to the children and nothing to her.

If she wants the money, she should divorce him now and leave with her 1/2 and she can start spending it before she becomes a bitter old lady who is pissed she wasted her youth with an old man.

Whilst the shows still aren't as entertaining as they once were. I have to admit I've laughed 25% more than I have since Buzz left. BUT Robb's corny interuptions remain as annoying as ever. You tried TMOS Stats.....you tried.

The RELM shows, unfortunately, just aren't very good. I can go into detail, but I don't want to get into it haha. At least for MandL they take Mike's "just anything or anybody" discussion sheet, but have less radio talent to put it together.

Where TMOS appears to be attempting to be filler, MandL succeeds.

I root for those guys, but I can't listen to your girlfriend's elementary age child being interviewed about his day.

With LFF, you have talent but no gumption. With Marc, you have gumption but no talent. RELM can market all it wants. If it offers a sucky product, which I assume it does, it is doomed to fail.

I would occassionally listen to MandL back when it was on MORE, but usually only if I had already listened to the usual stuff. Sometimes MandL was ok. I haven't listened to a single RELM podcast. Mainly because no one has given them a strong recommendation.

First the original photo, and then these evolving modifications piling up one after the other... This is the kind of stuff that makes this thread irresistible. If Mike had any sense he would use these pics, in their present sequence, in the next live show Powerpoint presentation. I haven't listened to MOMS in ages but I come here 2 or 3 times a week and always find a good laugh. This is what happens when a group of genuinely funny and creative guys start riffing off each other, igniting a comedy chemistry. I know it's been said before but it bears repeating: if Mike's podcast were a fraction as funny as this thread, there would be no cause for criticism. The truth hurts, Mike, but you must read it and weep.

Remember when you were in your early 20s and you were out drinking with your friends and there was that guy that always drank too much too quickly? At first it's kind of funny. But after a while you get tired of the embarrassment and the hassle associated with making sure the guy doesn't get into a fight, get behind the wheel or pass out in public. Well, somewhere along the way that guy got his shit together, got married and became a responsible adult. Apparently that never happened to Mike, who looks like a drunk grandpa in this photo.

We shall be drafting up our papers this week for all the times Mr O'Meara has been overserved:

A Colorado woman is suing an Aspen restaurant for $3,770, claiming she was so over-served at its bar that she ended up in the emergency room. According to the Aspen Daily News, the plaintiff ordered "a margarita in a tall glass" at Casa Tua restaurant, then called an ambulance later that evening when she "couldn't see." The plaintiff claims hospital blood work "showed that she had ingested five or so shots of tequila."
