I guess they were able to set it up before November because it's not tied to one of Fat Drunk Baby's forced group vacations.

BTW, the mom clearly did know what "precocious" means, but FDB didn't.

Something I've noticed since the birth of LFF Jr.

Pre baby, Mike would talk about the Red Sox and watching games maybe once or twice a month. And usually only when something major happened.

Post baby, Mike has devoted nearly all of his FB posts to the Sox, and talks about watching the previous night's game on the podcast almost every day.

What would you bet that the conversation goes something like this:

Carla- "Mike, the baby needs changing"
Mike- "Carla. You know when the Sox are on, it's daddy time. The baby will make winky-tink just fine in his jammies."
Carla- "Ugh"
Mike- "Is my scoot fixed yet?"

Worse display of "fatherhood"?

1) Drinking 2+ bottles of wine a listener sent in when his wife was 9 months pregnant and, conceivably, could have needed to go to the hospital at any moment...

2) Staying out all night until 4:30 AM drinking when the baby is a week old and the mother is still recovering from c-section surgery

This behavior would be troubling for a 25 year old dumbass kid, let alone a 50+ year old fogie. What irresponsible, frightening downward spiraling behavior...can't wait to see what is next.

"Available now-"

"WHEN?!?!??!"

Robb's repetitive "jokes" are so painful and bring the already-limping-along train wreck of a show to a screeching halt.

Seriously, please put the "WHEN" joke to rest. Robb is extremely distracting.

I don't know which is more disturbing with respect to Mike's behavior:

The alcoholic acts that you describe or the fact that not only does he not realize it but goes so far as to brag about it.

How can his wife sit back and enable this behavior any longer?

Carla, if you read this, and I imagine you will, Mike not only needs help with his alcoholism, but he really needs to be held accountable for his unacceptable behavior. That 4:45AM thing within the first week of your newborn son REALLY NEEDS TO BE AN EYE OPENER FOR YOU! If this is the kind of shit you are dealing with/putting up with now, you are in for a rough road. You owe it to your son to straighten this shot out. It has already gone too far.

There is no more biker clothing item than a Dickies workshirt!

So Mike's "scoot" (totally gay) fell over INSIDE A TRAILER and got broken so bad that it's still not fixed?

A child can housetrain a dog, but can a Fat Drunk Baby houstrain a child?

He blames his eating and drinking uncontrollably on his knee "blowing up".

FDB can't remember Oscar's sister's name from yesterday, but I could.

Then he talked about watching a 5 hour baseball game. The baby'll be fine, Carla!

Two words I haven't heard yet: "baby monitor".

Noted sports expert Mike O'Meara doesn't know that there is ALREADY a rule about how much time a pitcher can take before throwing the ball. It's called a "balk" you stupid American University diplolma waving retard.

Well, that and having a kid with someone who was very open about not wanting another kid. If she is just now slowly realizing that she is on her own, she's an idiot.

Exactly... Stevie Wonder could see that LFF was going to be absentee on this one as well... If he isn't invested emotionally, it's easier to invest this child's future in the Slot Market as well...

I know some people like to bust on Carla, but I feel really bad for her. No one deserves to be treated as badly as Mike O'Meara treats her. And that poor kid. Not only will his father be gone soon, but any money that's been set aside for college, etc, will be flushed away into the slot machines before then...

Speaking of retards. You don't know what a balk is. A balk is when the pitcher begins his motion to throw a pitch and instead tries to pick off the baserunner. I don't criticize people for not knowing sports, but if you're going to call someone a retard for not knowing a rule, you better know it yourself or you look like a massive fool. Which you now do. Congrats.

Also having a kid with someone who thinks pulling out is a) a method of contraception, and b) a good way to have sex. That is one psychologically fucked up retard.

File this under be careful what you wish for. She broke up with him because he didn't want a kid. And then came back; he was still arguably riding the gravy train then.

The Florida house is Mike's cushion because it generates rental income. I hope she asks for it in the divorce settlement. FACE!

I bet FDB files income tax as a Florida resident to evade Virginia income tax.

Did a little internet sleuthing, Kappy used to post weekly about TMOS. It was always her cover photo and/or profile pic. In July she changed her profile pic to this, and since then, has posted stuff about Robb's Iowa radio show and RELM stuff, but nothing TMOS specific. Her profile and cover are now unrelated to any shows. Could be coincidence, but seems like something is there.

I am paraphrasing and going by memory so I am sure I am a little off, but he said about the November live show that "they just had to get some rich fans drunk to get their money...and Robb does all the work I just sit back and laugh and play along. That's what we do". Again, I am paraphrasing but that was the vibe.

I am sure Kappy isn't happy with Mike going out binge drinking two nights in the first week of his child's birth. Drinking until 5:00 am in the morning and then having your drunk buddy sleep it off in your home and your kid is just a couple days old, what kind of parent is that? Having Luggage thrown around a pregnant woman? Talking about how you never wanted the kid and the pre-nup? WOW!

He said that Carla was on pain meds and called her "Anna Nicole Smith". He realized that she was incapacitated and helpless and yet he goes out drinking until 5 a.m. What if there was an emergency? What if Carla had an emergency? What if his newborn had an emergency?

If Mike is treating his wife like this one week after giving birth, I can't imagine how he treats her the rest of the time.

If Kappy is still supporting Mike, she needs to cut the financial umbilical cord to big baby Mike.

If a moderately attractive girl marries a huge old load who is an alcoholic and a has-been who uses a breathing mask at night and talks on air about his flatulence.....Who runs a home-based podcast about farts with a laughing hyaena and a Bolivian douchebag.....

We would expect such a girl to be some sort of trailer trash or a 'gal' who used to spin on a pole in the afternoon for some jobless and toothless hillbilly men.

Not exactly 'desirable.' If Mike had terminal cancer I could sort of understand her putting up with it. So, something is 'amiss' in that little head if you ask me.

No way more than 10 people not related to these guys show up, right? I mean, it's possible Ronic's ex-wife shows up to heckle him, but other than that?

Chris MaTTews has an 1888 Victorian behind the Trader Joe's in Bethesda. It's yellow, and laughs at a 1903 Victorian.

Maybe FDB stayed out late drinking because the mother in law was drinking and he didn't want to actually rape her. Which is the cause and which is the effect?

This wasn't even a NEW story. The settlement was new info, but BUZZ featured this kid's story on the show at least twice in the past year. Of course, we know how much Mike listens to his own show, even as it's happening...

i think it was on the most recent bonus show and robb was telling some story that involved buzz. when he got to buzz's name and said something like "that guy" or something else kinda taking a dig. was actually surprised mike stopped him and actually mentioned the RELM network. didn't sound like mike was digging at all . . . was kinda surprising.

mike must have changed his mind and didn't tell robb how to think, so robb took a dig -- his ass-kissing is running amock!

Great example of how well that product works, look at the results! If he is going to misrepresent things and take money from listeners he might as well add "er" to his name and be "Robber" Spewak.

I go "on the air" and broadcast to the world that I didn't want to get married, that I didn't want a kid, that I stayed up drinking all night when my son was a week old, that I chased off a friend of 20+ years, that "a suitcase was thrown," that I threw a tantrum when I was asked by my newly c-sectioned wife to take out the trash....but I'm going after your job if YOU talk about it.

Has anyone else noticed Oscar's new verbal crutch? "Oh. My. God." Slowly and dramatically. He probably uses it 5 or 6 times a show now, at least. So odd. That and his use of "myself" in phrases where it doesn't fit. He says myself instead of "me", I guess he thinks it makes him sound more educated?

Oh yes, Oscar's misuse of "myself" in place of "me" has irked me for years. However, Oscar admits to using language improperly at times. Mike, on the other hand, constantly corrects others while having terrible language skills himself. So Oscar gets a pass from me. Mike's just an ignorant ass.

You'll want to stay out of bars on the East Coast in November as a precaution. Meanwhile I'll keep avoiding Quench in Rockville. Overpriced drinks are not my thing, and throw in Mark and Lowell and Buzz and you have a disaster.

Absolutely. That both those things bug the shit out of myself too :) One more thing about big O that is irritating. He is incapable of saying "price" as in how much something costs. It is always "price-point". While I understand this is a business term, it doesn't take the place of "price" in every instance. Another example of trying to sound educated..but is instead douchey.

Come to think of it, why doesn't LFF and krewe record 2 to 3 shows a day on Monday and Tuesday? They could then take the rest of the week off. When the show-woe-woe was on the radio they "worked" a lot more than 90 minutes a day.

This way he could spend more time ignoring his wife and new born son, and focus on drinking and eating uncontrollably on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Guess he's too lazy to be that lazy.

How could it be possibly interesting to listen to people who don't do anything or go anywhere? I don't think getting drunk is all that interesting so Mike has nothing else to talk about. Buzz sits by the pool and gets high. Chronic lives in his parent's basement. Besides telling us what they ate or what is on TV, what else is there to discuss?

Adam Carolla,on the other hand, races cars, travels constantly to many cities to do stand-up, is raising and interesting family, builds houses, makes movies, writes books, appears on TV shows and hangs out with many celebrity friends. Even his old non-celebrity friends are really funny. On top of that he is actually funny and needs no ass-kissers or laughing hyenas around him when he is cracking wise.

Yet his show is mostly griping about passion fruit iced tea and techno music being played in steak houses. His life is more interesting than the TMOS gang's by far but he doesn't use it. It's the same old crap over and over. Mike 'has a weekend' every weekend and Julia is very smart and Robert is very strong and Oscar's family is ashamed of him. Yeah, that's all tired as hell but you can't honestly say you have heard all of that any more than you have heard that John Mellencamp is for stupid people and Lynette never puts her keys back.

In my opinion, Mike and Adam have something in common. Adam does have an ass-kisser on the show. She is an unfunny cunt with a retarded laugh. She wouldn't have anything going for her if Adam didn't keep her around. She is the Robbbbb of his show. For the most part, when she speaks, Adam either glosses over her comments, has to explain her comments, or has to take a second or two to restart the show afterwords. She must suck him or fuck him on the side, because she brings nothing to Adam's podcasts that is remotely funny. I am guessing that is also the reason why Mike keeps Robbbbb around.

Yes, I hear many of the same complaints that Adam has over and over. But he has fresh complaints on a daily basis. He is the Master of Complaints©. His complaints are as fresh as the morning news. His fresh complaints are like Picasso's works.

And, he actually does things besides sit at Jimmy's and drink or watch Regis in the morning.

As for his 'cunt' side kick, I find her charming and amusing. I like her goofy laugh. She is unique because she is a jew who does not know it and was not raised with tribe arrogance. That gives her a special take on things like Adam who was raised by wolves. When she laughs it is because it can't be helped. It is never canned like the Laughing Hyena© who laughs out of sheer terror.

Adam was a jock who ran with tough dudes and lived in poverty with retarded liberal parents with a white mother who got a degree in Chicano studies . TMOS basically appeals to non-jocks and queens. The members of TMOS are fat nerds.

There is a real tangible difference in tone.

LFF or a Failcast supporter occasionally comes on here to claim this thread hasn't predicted anything right related to LFF. Let's just think about this.

It predicted the demise of the LFF show on WJFK
It predicted the demise of LFF on The Edge
It predicted the Failcast wouldn't pick up any more radio affiliates
It predicted Krewe members would eventually quit in a flare up
It predicted certain sponsors would drop out after LFF failed to make live appearances
It predicted LFF would have difficulty making money from the Failcast
It predicted LFF would have a difficult time dealing with the baby

Hmmm. Sounds pretty accurate to me.

For as many podcasts as I listen to I've never delved into Adam Carolla. Obviously I've heard him, including recently on Jay Mohr and Steve Austin's podcasts. He's an interesting dude.

I have to say though, Ron Bennington is the best there is. If you haven't heard him, check out some of his Unmasked interviews with comedians and then move on to the clusterfuck that is Ron and Fez. Talk about being saddled with retards - like a cohost who never speaks - but he can still make four hours a day interesting, unlike some LFFs who can't scrape together an hour...
