Lately, I've noticed that I have my most vivid, intense dreams when I'm sleeping on my back. I rarely dream when I sleep on my side or stomach.
Does this happen to anyone else?

How does that work? I'd think you'd get the most oxygen from laying on your side; you wouldn't have as much resistance against your diaphragm. I don't see how there's be a difference in blood circulation between laying on your back and laying on your stomach.

Yes. It happens with me too. Out of the couple dozen times I've had a sleep paralysis experience, 23 of those times I had just rolled onto my back...
I've even gotten to the point where I wake myself up an hour early, just so I can roll onto my back and have a dream session.
Some of my coolest, most vivid, most inspired dreams were dreams immediately following sleep paralysis..
amazing visuals with bright colors, otherworldly music, waking dreams.. Dreaming is my favorite thing to do.

I have never experienced sleep paralysis. I also haven't noticed any correlation between how I'm sleeping and my dreams. I had a dream a week or two ago in which I got on a train and it turned into a roller coaster. I remember being quite annoyed because my body recreated that feeling you get in the pit of your stomach when you go down the first hill. Stupid roller coaster dream.
