Atheists may be wrong
Posted by: Madeline Ohare ()

Atheists have rally in DC, hardly anyone shows up, weather is cold and rainy. Christians celebrate Easter today, churches so crowded they give out tickets to attend and weather is beautiful.

Atheist whining in 3.....2.....1.....

Followed by Christian whining.

Followed by logical fallacies by atheists.

There, I saved you the time of reading what will be a pathetic and whining rambling from both sides.

What are they wrong about? Most people think going to Church today is going to save them somehow but why aren't they overcrowed every other Sunday? You're more likely to go to Hell for going to Church on Easter and not every other Sunday.

Most people don't really believe in their religion. They're coerced into being followers because of the disadvantages of being recognized as being viewed as an outsider from their social groups. Atheists are individualists.

I avoid hell by marching on the national mall with a bunch of freaks, losers, queers, etc. I need an entire day of horrible entertainment and boring speeches to justify my belief system.

Athesist lack the "Zen Gene so it's not really their fault they can't feel englightenment or don't have the ability to meditate or feel closer to a higher power, God or not. They were born without it and it must suck to be lacking something so wonderful.

Whatever helps you cope. Sounds just like every other religious crutch.

Huh? I never said that lol. I just learned that the other day. But it makes sense. I don't know what the truth is more than the next person but I never knock anyone for their beliefs and I'm glad you didn't. I thank you for that.

Actually, it is.

It's a response to all the various means by which society tries to make the individual conform. Churches are as ubiquitous as fast food restaurants. The media is saturated with messages that reinforce religion. Religious clubs in schools, communities, sports, business, and so many more places.

Meh. I believe in karma since I have seen it first hand happen to others and have had it happen to me. I believe Heaven and Hell don't happen after they die. You either live in Hell or you live in Heaven. Most people are living in their own personal Hell everyday of their lives. We don't just die and there's nothing. How you live this life determines how shitty your next life will be.

"Atheists are individualists"

If that is true why would any individualists ever hold a rally to form a group?

The individuals feel threatened by a large group that holds sway over governance.

Conservative christians in the US have taken the idea of no establishment of religion as persecution, because they feel entitled not to equal status, but to greater status.

Being an Agnostic is so much easier than being an Athiest.
No marches or clubs , only blissful ignorance.

Very true. And how sick and sad would it be if believing in God is what gets people sent to Hell?

A bunch of frauds collecting money from gullible faith-oriented people. The basis for any religion wanting to survive.

Joel Osteen is a man of Christ. An honorable servant of our Lord and Saviour.

Im not saying he isnt. Im saying that AS a man of Christ, he follows after the church and exploits peoples fears for profit. He truly is a man of the cloth.

Joel Osteen carries an axe in one hand, and the Bible in the other.

He's a motivational speaker. I don't recall any mention of religion in his ad which seems to be appealing to patriotism.
