All I need to know I learned from the Easter Bunny!

-Don't put all your eggs in one basket.
-Everyone needs a friend who is all ears.
-There's no such thing as too much candy.
-All work and no play can make you a basket case.
-Everyone is entitled to a bad hare day.
-Let happy thoughts multiply like rabbits.
-Some body parts should be floppy.
-Keep your paws off of other people's jelly beans.
-Good things come in small, sugar coated packages.
-The grass is always greener in someone else's basket.
-To show your true colors, you have to come out of the shell.
-The best things in life are still sweet and gooey.

Happy Easter!

interesting video but i noticed they claimed Horus was called KRST (Christ). here's the thing, latin didnt exist at that time and we dont even know how to read the Ancient Egyptian "language" (hieroglyphs). i just noticed it seemed odd, that's all.

FYI

Archaeologists have been able to decipher Egyptian heiroglyphics for centuries. It was made possible by the discovery of the Rosetta Stone.

Gravis-

Latin didn't exist, but Greek did. The Greeks had a lot to do with the Egyptians (and with the the development of Latin) and the word "Christ" actually originates from a Greek root.

That said, I agree the connection sounds kind of bogus. From what I have read, the root word came through Greek interaction with Germanic tribes, not through the Egyptians. Additionally, if you were going to use the Egyptian word for King, wouldn't it be some variation of Pharaoh?

I happen to think that overall this video hits pretty close to the truth. But, I don't think it is entirely accurate and tries to make the connection between other faiths too clear cut.
