digital camera recommendation

I'm finally going to buy a digital camera - I am considering the Canon SD550. Has anyone used this camera - any comments or recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks!

Seems decent for a small digicam. Here's a good place to get reviews on digicams. The link goes directly to the review for the SD550 http://www.dpreview.com/reviews/canonsd550/

I have a SD200 which has traveled the world with me. It's not the same camera, but it is the predecessor of the SD550. I love it, and I'll be upgrading to a higher quality camera for my travel next year.

There's a review at dcresource.com about the SD550.

Yeah, any Canon in the SD series or PowerShot series is going to be a great choice.

Go with any Nikon. Samsung and other brands such as Fuji eat batteries. Good luck on your purchase!

Love my Nikon D3200. It's all the camera I need and uses the lenses from my old film cameras too. Got mine for $450.00
