Does the renewal question sheet include the question "Has your sex changed since your last renewal?" I notice some states include this on the form.

if you're an illegal alien, they don't check for proof of citizenship and residency unless your id is expired.

Some states do. But what happens is first, people get insurance, then cancel it the day after they get their license. Then all these shady companies pop up that sell insurance for a week (to spare you the hassle of having to cancel it).

The insurance is linked to the car. You have to fill out that question on your registration renewal.
