Not 1 single person in the top 10 lives inside Fairfax County.
However states such as Wyoming, Kansas, Texas, Arkansas and Nebraska are represented.
So people who think no other parts of the country are as desirable or successful as Fairfax County are smoking crack.
I was born and raised here.
Yes there are other parts of the country where people are just as successful and just as wealthy as the people living in Fairfax County.

You really think the Top 10 richest people is an appropriate sample size and method to determine whether certain areas of the country are successful or not?

You have a billion dollars and you invest a lot of it on a piece of property then yes suddenly that property becomes desireable...
The whole thing about Fairfax County is that we have a large amount of politicians and/or various government workers who reside here who bring the average income of the County in general up.

How would we cope?
Would local rents finally go down to reasonable prices?

I think a good number of those billionaires are probably living on massive ranches in the middle of nowhere. Just like the Mars family, they have a place in Fauquier County, and an enormous estate in Wyoming.
