Santorum Declares His Religion Only Religion for US

Meanwhile, Rick Santorum criticized John F. Kennedy's 1960 speech on keeping his faith separate from politics. Santorum, who hopes to become the second Roman Catholic US president, Kennedy's speech made him want to throw up.
Kennedy said religion and politics should be kept separate, which Santorum called an "absolutist doctrine" that he rejected. "I don't believe in an America where the separation of church and state is absolute," he said on ABC.

If it were absolute then anyone practicing religion would be excluded from participating in politics and government.
Also weren't the framers of our Government Christian? It doesn't make sense they would form a government then create rules that would exclude their own participation thereafter.

Santorum wants to turn the US into a Theocracy in which higher education is the pursuit of "snobs".
Can't you see how appealing that would be to moderates and independents?

America was established by those fleeing religious persecution in Europe. The Founding Fathers did not want any one religion or Church as the "official" Church of the State because of what the Anglican Church had done in England. If they wanted a Christian government, they would have adopted the 10 Commandments into the Constitution and we would be living in a Theocracy.
