War with Iran, a Washington post article
Posted by: Mofo ()

Until now I've pretty much brushed off talk of war with Iran as liberal alarmists and that Bush couldn't be that stupid. This article is quite an interesting read, of if we're not already in world war three we might soon be if some of these things come to fruition.

I really hope so but I'm starting to have my doubts. The "war" may be no more than Israel bombing Iran and us supporting Israel if they are attached by bombing some more. Oil prices and other consequences of those actions is what has me worried though.

oil prices are only going up right now because as the washingtonpost keeps quoting, its buught and sold in dollars and the dollar is agt historic lows right now. I doubt that Israel would go it alone against Iran.

There is no doubt that the Bush Administration is looking for an excuse to start a war with Iran....their words and deeds have given every indication of this intent for some time now. Remember that stupid excuse of a "provocation" a few months ago when a couple of Iranian speed boats were confronting on of our destroyers? Toward the end of the "incident" some one said over the radio "we will get you!" Hilarious propaganda..I think it was a test to see how stupid we really are. If any of those speed boats were a threat....they could easliy be blown out of the water...end of incident. But noooo....Bush has to make it look like we we might need to respond by over reacting and potentially starting WW III.

Here's something that has been in the back of my mind lately...you can take it for what it is worth.

When I was in high school my friends and I were playing around with a ouija board (Im a skeptic by the way) asking dumb questions. Anyway, I decided to ask when WWIII would begin? The pointer started to spell out...B-L-A-C-K-P-R-E-S...I said black president and I'll be damned if that ouiji pointer did not shoot over and land on yes.

Honestly, I dont think my friends were smart enough to think up something profound, its not their personality. This also happened in the late 80s, in an era when a black president was the furthest from the American peoples mind.

So...WWIII or its equivalent Jihad may be closer then you think.

Bush went into Iraq to kill Saddam because Saddam once had a contract out his Dad. Also why not take the opportunity to scoop up some oil wells to pay back some oil buddies in Texas who funded his campaign and help Cheney's Halliburton contacts.

Halliburton has contracts worth more than $1.7 billion for its work in Iraq from a no bid contract.

Bush's Texas oil buddies are the only ones profiting right now. Best to fill their pockets before Bush leaves office.

Why is Bush ignoring the gas prices? Take a guess.

Eisntein quote very nice, but it was "I cannot tell you the weapons with which world war 3 will be fought but I can tell you world war 4 will be fought with sticks and stones"
