Women who are not married are not thought of as "lesbians"...
Posted by: questionsinmymind ()

I just notice something. If a guy is say over 35, and not married- people will start to question and wonder "is he?" gay? or something. But if a woman is not married, people never question her sexuality that way. Why is this? Just because someone isnt married doesnt mean they are gay. Or someone isnt dating all the time, it doesnt mean that either. A lot of people seem to do this- esp for Hollywood Actors.

Im pretty sure Kevin Spacey is gay, but there are quite a few Actors that aren't.

I'm pretty sure it's not because they're lesbos, but probably because they have a lot of baggage. except the ones driving forresters...then you can rest assured they're probably lesbos.

With men it is more suspicious if they have "never" been married or proclaim themselves as "confirmed bachelors" like the former Mr.Misery did. A divorced man is not thought of as gay.

It's because the people who say that are, in fact, only women. And the reason women do that? To make men who are susceptible to such criticism get married, in order to perpetuate the enslavement.

Saying that same thing about a woman doesn't help the end goal. So it isn't done.

The lesbian/bisexual rumors have been around for female stars for many years. All I can think of off the top of my head is Olivia Newton-John, Whitney Houston, Nicole Kidman, Oprah Winfrey, and Jodie Fisher. Nobody really cares if there are rumors about women who aren't considered attractive or have a somewhat masculine appearance. I think it's assumed in those instances.

Quite often, the poor schmuck who is UNMARRIED by 35 (and older) is all too acutely aware of his rapid depreciation on the meat market. The quality of female available to him begins to go down fast. A dude who is divorced once or twice is much more desirable because women figure he was good enough to marry to start with.

If you're unmarried AND under 5'10" AND older than 35, the quality of female willing to settle for you goes down drastically. If you're under 5'7", it's all over with for the most part. Heaven help the poor slob who is overweight as well as short! NOW we're scraping UNDER the bottom of the barrel for the females who will settle for you!

Better to stay single and go to a Vegas brothel from time to time. Just rejoice when you see far better men than you get ruined by divorce and know you were lucky to be unworthy of marriage!

The times are a changing. Men have been crushed by the nightmare of divorce and are choosing not to get married. Women are realizing that all they really need is some one to hold them and listen to stories about their day and life. The media has main streamed gays and now it os O.K. to be gay. So, i don't understand this pointless question?

I've seen more unmarried women be thought of as gay than men, but older unmarried men aren't as desirable because they are thought not to know how to live and share their life with someone else. A divorced person, man or woman, actually has lived with someone for some period of time in a committed relationship, roommates are no where near the same thing.

I know the answer to this:

In general our society, men are the pursuers, and women are not. (In general). So when a man is not married, people assume its largely by choice, as when a woman is not married, its either because she's 1)undesirable 2) a wallflower 3)both 4) extremely shy

So a woman not married means she hasn't been asked to be married. People figure, well hes nearing 40, cant he just bag some broad and take her home to his cave? Thats the mentality people have. So basically, yeah, people wonder if he just doesnt like women. However, this is usually not the case. Some men are just as shy as women when it comes to pursuing , and a really nerdy shy guy may never get the courage to ask a woman for a date, let alone propose marriage.

Guys over 35 that have not been married or have no kids are rare and women go crazy over them. It's not like 20 years ago when everybody got married and stayed married. 55% percent of men and women are divorced these days. Today any woman looking for a guy over 35 usually has to deal with the baggage of kids or debt from old marriages. Who wants that?

The people over 35 who have not got married are usually well off because they focused on careers and didn't have to fork out boats loads of cash for kids, college etc.

I'm not saying I won't date a 35 year old divorced guy, but why when I can get a single guy with money and no baggage. I like to travel and being able to do that with a guy without kids is nice.

Yes, he is and a drunk gay, to boot. You can take that to the bank.

Inka/Shadow get fucked up in Tampa, Fl with pudding' and Elle from 4lulz. Soon, the admins from UF (useless forums) will be visiting Tampa and they'll all get shitfaced together.

Wonder if eesh and khareeshie (Cary), two big posters on UF will be going to Tampa soon, since they're all buddies.

What a nice family of message board admins, all playing fuck the posters, together. LOL, they must have so much fun lolling at y'all.

There is something wrong with you if you are a man over 35, and not married or in a committed relationship.

Many women are too picky and spoiled in their twenties and early 30's, and they wake up at age 35 with no prospects for marriage. By age 40, there is very little hope.

I knew one that just pissed me off because of her attitude of how special she was, and how she felt that all the guys were just tripping over each other to date her. So, I just stopped calling her and seeing her. After like three months, she relayed through a friend that she wanted me to take her to a big event, and she was surprised I hadn't called her yet and asked her to go. I relayed back that I had moved on and was taking someone else. She appraently said that I "will come back to her."

I never came back, and twenty years later, she is still single.

I have a friend who is 64 years old (straight male) and never been
married but he likes it that way. He averages about 3 months
in relationships with women before he moves on. He's just not
the kind of guy who can handle committment. According to him
he's happy never having gone through a divorce, paid child
support, or had a mother-in-law.

Hate to stereotype. But yeah, men are lot less picky. Women have a whole laundry list they have for their "mister right". To a guy, if a woman is reasonably okay looking, doesnt smell bad, and can cook, shes wifey material. Hell, she doesnt even have to cook...

Eesh is between 5'7" and 5'9" and weighs about 190 pounds. Since he's bisexual (he tops) he can always find some guy willing to give up the ass if he can't find a woman.
