The book was decent. A very creative interpretation of American history.

I hope the movie will be good. It didn't look like it was made for 15 year old girls, but the vampire category is pretty crowded.

why does the media always refer to AL as America's favorite President. If it was not for me, you'd all be a bunch of nancies speaking with British accents. He could not read, was secretly a halfie and freed all those people, resulting in what you see today, the worst President in US history voted into office. There is probably plastic on all the furniture now.

This, on the other hand looks great. Marky Mark was on Stern the other day and I'm not sure how this can't be funny. Supposedly the bear is shown smoking dope, snorting coke and banging hookers. Since it comes from Seth MacFarlane, it's going to be warped and Marky Mark can be good at being funny.

It might be funnier than hell, but I think it might have a tough time finding its market. I thought Bad Santa was funnier than shit, and even though it made money, it still grossed about $76 million. With a movie like Ted, it could have easily cost $100 million to make with Marky Mark and a CG bear.

I'm just saying it didn't make any money. I guess it was a "success" in that it broke even. But it seemed like a quirky premise to throw a $150 million budget, or whatever it ended up costing, behind it.

That's true. They should have done a better job promoting it instead of the typically awful way most trailers are put together. If I had seen the trailer before, I would never have watched it. Trailers can often make a good movie seem stupid and bad movies look interesting.

BTW, Cowboys vs Aliens was Harrison Fords best performance ever.

Did see this movie last week with Jack Black and Shirley mcLaine and Matthew Mc whatever the spelling is, the dude just got married. plays bongos
"Bernie" was film's name. I found parts of the movie hilarious. Movie was directed by Richard Linklater of "Dazed and Confused" fame. This movie would have gotten wider release 10 years ago.
