Fuck the Superbowl being played on a SUNDAY evening.

I have kids that need to be in bed by 730-8 to be ready for school the next day.

Cant find a sitter, they all have plans n shit

The woman decided to pick up a shift at the restaurant/bar that nite (WTF?)

Im forced to either have a party, (but not this year) or stay home and watch ALONE on the bigscreen.

Why not go to your wife's restaurant with the kids for the first half. Rush home and put the kids to bed; watch second half at home..

How does that sound?

Thought did cross my mind however kids are 3 & 7 and I'd spend more time "watching" them than the game. 2hrs at a bar makes kids go nuts. They have the attention span of a squirrel.

Easier to have the game on 3 tv's throughout the house as I manage them to bed by 730 I think. Its only a game, right? Betting Pats -3 and ML all the way!

My twins are 7, and the boy is a big Pats fan (got to go to his first NFL game this year, the nailbiter at FedEx). Probably let him watch the first half with me. Would love to go watch at Murphy's in Old Town but when you get up for work at 5:20, getting home close to midnight, either all jacked up or all pissed off, doesn't work.

For the last 5 years I've gone to a college buddy's place in Winchester, but I've finally gotten sick of being tired and hungover at work on Monday. So this year I'm gonna stay home, watch it sans alcohol and go to bed when it's over. I don't care about either team, so fuck it.
