Why don't you just ignore the people that bother you so much? It seems to me that more often than not, the cycle goes like this:

Someone (not necessarily eesh) posts some potshot reference to you.
You respond, generally insulting/accusing eesh.
eesh responds,
you respond, dragging Mephisto into it.
Escalation ensues until pics are posted, blogs are posted, etc.
You use CSS hacks to hide threads
Cary bans you.

Then everything is quiet for awhile until the cycle begins anew. Don't get me wrong, I get a lot of enjoyment out of the smart ass responses from everyone when this shit goes down, but maybe if you just ignore the first part of the cycle and let it go, they'd forget about you and it'd eventually end.
