You keep saying "Yeah, I'll have it looked after soon" until...well...you have to have it looked at. This usually happens when the spouse says "That is so gross and it's starting to leak and it stinks, too, and you're messing up the bedsheets and you ain't sleeping HERE until you get that THING removed!".

I had a patient once who shot pus onto the wall when the doctor cut into the cyst. The smell was awful. Other than that, exploding cysts are pretty cool.
